Just got this to pair with my insta 360 and radar detectors on my corvette killer setup for a tiny car and a huge rear glass windows it eliminates my blind spots completely
It says on the website that this is Apple CarPlay, and android compatible. I was really hoping you would show how it’s compatible with Apple CarPlay. But also, the power plug that goes into the camera, is it a type C or the other, because I would really like to change this plug into my OBD port instead of my 12 V. The camera I have now plugs into the OBD port. It came that way so I’d really not like to hear anyone tell me how it’s not a good idea. I haven’t had any problems with it. Thanks 😊
Good deal, I’m going to place my order! I currently have the Garmin Live which is pretty decent. From the looks of it the SC400D seems to have better picture quality. In addition, I have to pay a subscription fee for their cloud “ecosystem.” Thanks again for the review and response! Blessings!!
I bought this dash cam about a year ago and I can’t get any alerts from the device about speed traps or police lasers or anything of that nature while I’m driving, I wonder if is because I’m using it in Jamaica why it doesn’t provide those features?
How does it do with heat??? It gets 100°+ here in Texas and my other dash cam starts to glitch when it starts to overheat from the windshield, just sitting there.
Hey man, I saw on a different video that you only get 4K resolution if you have the main dash cam only, and if you utilize the rear cam, the main cam’s resolution reduces significantly. Is this true?

It’s quite good comparatively although most cams aren’t very good at night, just aren’t built very well for low light conditions.

Is the drivesmarter app required or can just the SD card be removed and uploaded onto the computer?
You can just use the sd card in a computer too.

After installing the Cobra SC400D dash cam to the windshield; is there a trick to release the Cobra device from the mount held by the magnet?
It just slides off the same direction it went on.

Not sure I’m in northern Michigan so we turn the AC on when it gets to 75 haha. I had a day get to 90 and it was fine
do you have a video from the rear camera? Also, if i elect the cab camera, will all 3 cameras film simultaneously?
Rear cam is good it’s just a standard 1080p. With 3 it will record them all at the same time yes

Should be in the settings or you can adjust the glare filter too

Don’t think so not sure why it would make a difference. It’s 4k when I have the rear cam on mine
