Assalamu alaikum you 're right! Still I can't recite Holy Quran properly. I can but so slowly. Per verses I take time almost 2/3/5/6/10 minutes ( like surah Al baqarah ) per verses... 😢😢 Pray for me ustaz ❤ barakallahu feek 🎉
The more u read, the more u will become fluent. This is the only way. Will take some time. Keep hope.
Not boasting, but I can read a chapter in just 12-13 minutes, but that's not the way one shd recite. It shd take atleast around 25-30 mins to complete a chapter.
May Allah make it easy for u, keep practicing, take lessons from ustaadh that will surely help inshaallah

There's a hadeeth the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The one who is skilled in reciting Qur'an will be with the noble, honourable scribes and the one who recites Qur'an and falters therein, and finds it difficult, will have a double reward.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (4937) and Muslim (798). I hope I am correct if not then may Allah forgive me...sis just keep on reading ..learn Tajweed in sha Allah u will find the fluency soon...for me also I took lots of time reading even one page was very difficult but Alhumdulillah I have noticed if u learn Tajweed and apply it camly no rush ..take a year doing it the. U will be better at reading
