But isnt there a difference in connected and disconnected madd, and isnt the connected madd like in جاء 5 counts and dissconected like يأيهاالذين 4 counts and it can be only 2 or am i wrong?

Ustaz can we expect a 7 years to learn all the rules of tajweed and apply them? My son has just started para 30 and keeps forgetting. Am I expecting too much? I feel unsatisfied with the teachers. What is the better mode of learning Quran as I find some are not teaching kids how to pronounce the words. Jazak Allah khair.

Its like math, no one knows the names of the properties but we know what they are. There are some rules u have to learn like mad jaiz and wajib. Also, for the record, mad jaiz can be 2,4, or 6, maybe 6 I'm not sure, and mad wajib is 4 or 5. Theres more nuance than just 2 mudood. I guess you're going for a less informed audience ig
