Painting Visual Texture with Acrylics - Abstract Background Acrylic Painting Demonstration

How to paint an Abstract Painting in acrylics with a plastic wrap painting technique. Easy background painting painted for any acrylic painting. The canvas was painted with black acrylic paint and dried prior to applying a layer of white acrylic paint. To create texture in the paint, crinkled plastic wrap was applied onto the wet white paint and flattened out with a roller (brayer). The plastic wrap was removed to reveal visual paint texture.

Such a super cool background technique method! I was thinking of using the acrylic pour but this is so less messy and with beautiful results (I do realize this one will have ridges while the acrylic pour will be smooth, but it's definitely doable. Thank you so much for sharing!

That looked so awesome when you pulled the plastic off and then you just made it ordinary by stamping it by hand all over with more plastic. I was sitting there screaming at the screen "OMG Stop you are ruining it !!" LOL I love your videos, just had to complain about that last maneuver you did on this one.
