Stayed here around 18 months ago and the island is truly perfect in my eyes, stayed in one of the large villas on the side of the mountain facing out to Jolly Beach directly outside miracles restaurant (the bamboo made one). If anyone hasn't visited Antigua then i *HIGHLY* advise you do so as it's stunning.
I definitely agree with you - Jolly beach is a magical place with it's calm waters, beautiful coastline and views of Montserrat and St-Kitts (on clear days). If you haven't already, make sure to subscribe! :-)
I know this is going to be a “what” question. However I am only use to Jamaica 7 mile beach and Negril Bloody Bay. Is the water warm in February and is it clam, and no seaweed. Any help would be appreciated/
There are no "what" questions :-) We had gone in September - the waters were very calm and warm and there were no clams nor seaweed when we were there (on this particular side of the island). When we went around the island, we did, however, see/smell some seaweed on some parts of the Atlantic side of the island. Hi Romina. Great question! In most areas of the beach, the water starts out shallow and gets deep progressively, therefore those who aren't "swimmers" can still get to enjoy wading in the water. In front of both of the hotels' beach, there is a decent sized cordoned off swimming area keeping the numerous jet skis at bay. Yes, Starfish is right on Jolly Beach. I'd say it's over a mile from one end to the other. Long curving bay. At the far end you can walk into a private gated development. As long as your respectful the Guards don't mind. Beautiful walk in the morning. The hotel is a bit tired and dated, but very friendly staff. Next year will be 5 in a row for us. Love it. Hire a car and explore the other beaches. Dark Wood, Valley Church, Half Moon, Pigeon, Deep Bay, Long Beach. Man, it's something. You feel close to the source of life when your in that water. Enjoy!!
Johnstone72 awesome, 5 years in a row is amazing! I’ve been twice and I’m only 15. Considering myself very lucky. My mum grew up on the island for a few years as a child. It’s almost like a second home. Well worth the time and money. Glad someone else enjoys it here as much as me!

Ooof this hurts to watch. We had flights, but we've had to cancel them until after COVID. it really looks like paradise there.
