- NATO Allies Romania and the United States strengthened their relations with the Republic of Moldova - a NATO partner - through exercise Rapid Trident 2023, which was held in Moldova from 10 to 22 September.
Troops from the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division, currently deployed to Romania, and the Romanian Army trained in land navigation, small unit tactics and combat casualty care, alongside more than 200 personnel from the Moldovan Army. Soldiers became acquainted with each other’s standard operating procedures, improving their ability to work effectively together in a crisis situation.
Bordering Romania and Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova declared its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Relations with NATO started in 1992, when Moldova joined the North Atlantic Cooperation Council, a forum for dialogue bringing together all Allies and partner countries in the Euro-Atlantic area and which was succeeded by the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. In 1994, the country joined NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme. The programme fosters practical bilateral cooperation and allows partners to build an individual relationship with NATO, choosing their own priorities for cooperation. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, NATO Allies pledged to help strengthen Moldovan security institutions and increase their resilience.

Keep going guys! Huge respect to Moldova from Finland 🇫🇮❤🇲🇩
As a Dutchman I’m grateful to have Moldova as a partner to NATO and will look forward to the day they will become an official member. People seriously underestimate not only the punches Moldova can give, but the punches they’ve taken so far.
Romania+Moldova = Brothers again in the incoming future!
i can see this happen!
Thank you for existing NATO! Unity is strength.
Strenght and honor.
United we stand, divided we fall.
We love Nato ❤❤❤
Bravo frati Moldoveni! 🇷🇴 ❤🇲🇩
Cat mai multa transpiratie in poligoanele de trageri!
This is what NATO is all about. Moldova is an amazing country, I'm so happy to see NATO forces working with Moldova. 🇺🇸🤝🇲🇩 ❤❤
Moldova was the follow up target of Putin. He intended on rolling through Ukriane and into Moldova, thankfully our Ukrainian friends stopped them cold. But the Russian threat for Moldova is still very real. Transnistria and political interference, these are weapons Putin still has deployed in Moldova. We must help defend Moldova at all cost. More military aid, training Moldovan forces, and financial support. This is how Moldova remains free and independent.
I'm Romanian from a county that borders Moldova, so I feel a close afinity with the people of Moldova; it's such an underrated country with welcoming people and decent local wine. I hope it becomes part of NATO and the EU, despite the challanges in its way to do so.
Thank you Bro-Frați forever
I love Moldova as an American, and I will one day come back to Moldova to buy land and build a home to stay my life in Moldova, so I hope for all the best and good for Moldova.
❤❤❤ moldova and nato working together for peace and security
You read that putin ?
*PARTNER* Moldova.
I’m sure it gives him some well deserved nightmares. He’s been bullying Moldova like crazy but now his fears keep gnawing at him.
Moldova Sweden and Ukraine should all be in NATO!Cheers from Taiwan!
Yeep together strong 🇲🇩🇬🇪🇺🇦
Moldova, Sweden, and Ukraine should all be in NATO
Thanks ❤❤❤
To finish full NATO unity in all of the lands considered part of Europe we need Moldova, Ukraine, Cyprus, Malta, Georgia, San Marino, Monaco, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Switzerland, Ireland, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and maybe even the Vatican City. I’m glad Sweden finally got to join NATO though. Hopefully one day Russia becomes a more peaceful and free place and finally gets to join NATO too. Also hopefully one day NATO won’t be limited to just Europe and will be willing to gain members across the rest of the world to get closer to a united Earth.
Together strong💪🌆
Moldova needs to watch out for more of Russia's attempts to destabilize it.

00:34 why is the camera focussed on that tree? Why not step to the side so we can see the soldier talking behind that tree?

What is the cam cream design on that American captain 💀
It looks like he darkened the areas of his face the most that would normally reflect the most light (higher areas of the face like bridge of nose, cheekbones, and chin)
Valuable support! Thank you NATO allies
We ♥️NATO
We are NATO❤

GOD SAVE NATO
When will NATO start banging its fist on the table against Russia!?
NATO is already supplying weapons to Ukraine. What if not banging on the table is that?
NATO is a defensive alliance. It can't attack or threaten Russia. That's not how the North Atlantic Treaty works.
Can’t tell if this is a Russian bot or just someone who’s illiterate
I still need translation from ro-en-ro
It's interesring to see how these small countries can join NATO. I know some countries like Mexico have a way better economy.
Moldova has not yet joined NATO, and is as of right now merely a "partnership for peace" nation. Moldova still has an ongoing territorial dispute with the breakaway autonomous state of Transnistria, so I don't see it actually joining NATO anytime soon.
As for Mexico: I don't think Mexico has any political interest of joining NATO to begin with. The threats that NATO exists to protect its members from are simply not a threat or concern to Mexico. While Canada and the US were founding members of NATO during the cold war, to Mexico Russia is simply not a real concern. I don't see Russia sponsoring a "People's Republic of Yucatan" civil war or anything...
Long live Great America, long live NATO, long live Europe, long live Trump
