BMW G Series 530i - Wiper Blade Replacement - Service Mode - Cleaning Windshield

-Turn Ignition Off
--Hold the wiper stalk in the down position for 3 seconds.
-To exit service mode, switch ignition on and activate wipers. Wipers return to normal, lower position.
Placing wiper blades in service mode helps when replacing the wiper blades or to clean the lower area of the windshield.
Service mode for the wipers makes replacement easier by bringing the wipers towards the edge of the windshield and also prevents damage to the hood.
