The way I spend money won’t allow me to just buy any and everything because I admire it. Sometimes I have to just look.

I can love someone's work and not want to buy it because I wont use it. Sometimes people appreciate the craftsmanship that went into something and not the aesthetic.

Can we just not change the meaning of words? When people love something, they want it. If they choose not to buy it it's because they don't have the money for it or because the correct word is "like" not "love"

Well, often I don’t need what I’m appreciating. Especially jewelry

Same but I would usually purchase the item(s) I’m appreciating and give it to someone as a gift. 😊

I thought this video was going to be about not solving a pain point for your customer. Some examples would be like needing to buy a gift for someone, needing a cake for your wedding, and needing snowboard gear for your ski trip. You likely felt a need for that wool coat, because it matched with the outfit you were wearing on the first day. If you wore another matching outfit on the second day, I don't think you would have talked yourself out of purchasing it.
I agree though that congruency definitely matters. No one wants to get scammed, even if your bank refunds your money later, so people look for things that appear "off" about an online store. I thought one bicycle brand's online store was possibly fake, because it used the most basic of store templates for their website, had barely any images and descriptions, and had slashed prices with significant discounts of 20%+ on all of their bikes. I take notice when I see a site with slashed prices when there's not a visual indication of a sale occurring, and I check back later and the prices are still "on sale". It turned out the site was totally legitimate and we bought several bikes from them, but it did teach me that my initial impressions of something aren't always right.

That feeling of "something's off" definitely keeps us on our toes when navigating online stores. Glad to hear your bike-buying experience turned out legit in the end! Thank you for watching!

Really interesting Mei! When I think back to the market stall I used to work I do remember that it was not consistent across all areas. Too many price points ...trying to appeal to to too many people at once. Good video. TFS!

You have to have a need or be in the market for something to buy. Ex. I love this car but im not in the market now. I love this art but i have no place to hang it. I love this coat but i just got a new one for christmas. You have to find buyers who have the need and the love.

How often do you get to use the word "congruent?" I think I learned the word in high school geometry class, and it sat unused in my brain for a long, long, time. I can't remember the actual context, but I used the word just recently in one of my videos.

It's funny how certain words find their way back into our vocabulary at unexpected moments! Thank you for watching!

I dont want to buy everything that I love. That’s just me. I only buy if I really need it. I just dont like unnecessary stuff lying around in my house.

If people love your work but won't buy it, that means they don't have the money, ergo you're not selling on the right platform/place.
