This is already a very big help especially for me. I'm a beginner, though di ko talga sya forte but I have to force myself to learn because it is needed in my subject area. Honestly I feel frustrated for this kasi di ko talga alam san ako mag sisimula pano ba dapat ang execution at anong susunod gawin. So I'm very thankful po sa video nato for giving is ideas. God Bless🥰🥰

I work sinawali and single stick within the same session i also shadow box empty hands working distructions gunting elbow strikes knees and lowline kicks. I even shadowbox hubud flows
I do rhese exvises greeflow and in rounds depending on mood
Another dun thing i do is my “jackie chan “ drill. In this drill i cjoose a random object like a wooden spoon a fork a rolled up magazine a spatula whatever i then shadow ox using fma strikes and principles our art is based on angles of attack so this exercise definite for es one to fevelope their versatility and creativity
Finally i have drills that exclusively focus on footwork

My system, PIKITI TIRSIA has”64 attacks” which means i have an infinite number of combinations i can extract and use.
This is one wY i do free flow
Another way is to work “in threes” equivalent to boxings “jab cross hook”
My “jab” might be a witik shrike of a broken horizontal strike i follow that up with a circular strike and complete the combo with a fluid horizontal strike. I work this combo on borh sides of the body i do this drill stationary moving forward moving backward and laterally
I have been practicing since the eighties so i e developed quite a few three strike combinations that find their way into my flow
I have drills the only use witiks or only thrusts ( the five eight nine drill) or only diagonal syrikes or only horizontal strikes or a combination of both. .

there is no right or wrong.. if you feel that it is right then it is right..if you feel that it is wrong then it is wrong...kaya hayan ang gusto ko sa arnis, kailan lang ako nag simula at ang sarap sa pakiramdam.. hindi na kumpleto araw ko kung hindi ako nag aarnis

This is such a well done video, Guro! There is always a part of my classes (both in-person, or more recent Zoom meetings) where we work on basic and complex combinations. We then incorporate them in free flow before closing out class, and it becomes “homework” to work on before our next session.
I remind my students that visualization is important so you focus on the movements and what might come next. I also tell them to think of defending against multiple attackers; this helps to engage their footwork.

Daniel. FABULOUS upload! Thank you so much. What do you suggest for asymmetrical development? I've got a long way to go, but was wondering if you have a tutorial of Doble Baston free flow progressions? You showed a small clip in this video of competition level Doble Baston. I would like to be able to achieve something like that one day. The reason I ask for this is that I find it's not enough to be really good with the left or right hand alone... but they must develop in synchronicity and compliment each other. There is a timing and precision in positioning that seems key here. If you have anything you can offer on that... I'd be very grateful. Fabulous upload and tutorial. Pugay!!!
