After all, it was the standing ovation from Chicago Imanaga fans when the score was 0-2 in the seventh inning with two outs and runners on 1st and 2nd base in a pinch.
A standing ovation usually occurs after a strikeout or a home run, but before the last pitch, everyone stood up and applauded, giving Shota strength in his pitching.It was the best moment.
This is omitted in most digests, but in real life, everyone lent their strength to Shota, and in that moment when Shota struck out and roared in response to the fans, the hearts of Shota and the fans became one. I was moved to feel it

Wow! Scoreless game came down to a ball knocked out of the catcher’s glove. I’m shocked they sent Bellinger with where the ball was when he got to third.
You are the only person to mention that. The ball wasn't knocked out of the catcher's glove. It was in his hand and he was showing to the umpire when Bellinger's arm accidentally knocked it loose. he was out and the replay officials blew the call. My question is, in football and baseball, how can they blow a slow motion replay which was shown over and over on television to the fans and which was obvious?

That’s allowed at the plate, if it’s just part of the slide, which it was. Watch old baseball, runners used to be able to run over the catcher like a freight train, and if the catcher dropped it at any point, runner is safe.

The worst part about this loss is that Falter, the Pirates starting pitcher, arguably out pitched imanaga today, he was incredibly efficient, 7 innings in and he had 67 pitches with 1 walk and 1 hit. Too bad the bad umpiring will overshadow it….

There's a reason why they don't show the replay, they know it was the wrong call. Not a PIT fan but the call is abysmal, the tag was applied, Bart took the ball out of the glove and got it knocked by Bellinger.
They showed the replay dozens of times. The foot touched the plate before the tag was applied. That was called on the field and it was CONFIRMED on replay. A bunch of sour grapes by the Pirate fans on a correct call.
