the reason that the gun still kicks a lot with the compensator attached is that the compnesator doesn't reduce vertical recoil. Maybe try the flash hider instead.

Basically yes. It reduces the recoil spread, so the muzzle will kick upward by the same amount but the bullet strikes will be more consistent and more tightly grouped from burst to burst. Take a look at the in-game recoil pattern for any given gun with and without the compensator and you'll see what I mean. Same elevation for each bullet strike but less random dispersion.
a compensator is basically a metal block at the end of a barrel to prevent the muzzle from climbing too much (E.G. tommy gun). And you're telling me that in RSS it doesn't decrease vertical recoil? I am amazed.
