    absolutely love your tutorials! it seems like u abandoned this channel though (because no one plays lbp anymore?) I quit lbp long ago but I now remembered how fun it was to play. Can u plz resume or vids?

      RandomKidzies I've often had the urge to return to tutorials, and I never really minded if anyone watched them, it was more to spread info and to help those who needed or wanted it. Who knows.. ;)

    There's actually a simpler way to spawn uncontrolled sackbots. Basically, you just place the microchip on the spawner, set the max objects in the emitter to 1, and have it not erase the oldest one, as well as set it to infinite lifetime.

    I think it would be a good idea to add a timer between the tag and emitter to make the transition seem a little more natural.

      LittleBigPlanet 3 Tutorials =D I'd like to think I have a pretty good understanding of the system by now. It's interesting how you learn. Thinking back to when I made a 2 minute timer by myself for my first level; it took me forever but it's a really good way to learn. even though I probably made it the hard way haha. I had a timer cycle a selector connected to all 9 numbers and 0. I had 3 of those, one timer set to 1 sec, and the other to 10 secs. Last one was a minute. I made the selector ports light up neon material shaped in numbers (Thank God for sticker cutter) and the level was set to end after 2 mins. I think that was my proudest piece in the level, it was only a pretty immature and early attempt at a versus level, which I kinda regret I deleted now. It was a tower with jump pads themed after the factory of a better tomorrow's bomb level with creatinators that shoot bombs; nothing too special.
      Oh God that's a text wall.

      ThatOrangeDragon =D very cool. Its always nice to remember a time when you too where inexperienced, I remember making player sensor, dissolve-able tag sensor logic all the time in LBP1. that was some impressive off screen logic, using physics! Now its all hidden away & running in the programming lol! =D

      LittleBigPlanet 3 Tutorials Thank Go for LBP 2 x3 In my opinion the best in the series, because of how many useful things it introduces, even if LBP3 had more talented level designers, in my opinion, showing what things you can do with "unorthodox" use of the devkit.

      ThatOrangeDragon Yeah LBP1 to LBP2 was a huge jump in progress. Though I think due to having the release on both ps3 & ps4 the jump between LBP2 to LBP3 was a much shorter leap (in my opinion of course) =D

    Know a way to make players start a level as a sackbot?

      MR0KITTY you can make custom sacks now (if you save the sackbot into the global settings tab that has the characters (the first tab)) then just have the normal spawn point (entrance) spawn that specific character!
      Other than that have a short delay (cinematic or black screen) at start allowing the player to get into the controllinater befor player sees ;)

    I'm not new to spawn points, but I came looking for a video on them specifically for this game. There's this strange glitch that occurs that never happened to me in lbp2. Whenever my bot respawns, the emitters within the bot make objects appear one layer behind the bot. I have no idea how to fix this other than to make it so that the objects would forcefully go to the right layer. Is there an easier way to fix this glitch or am I just screwed?

      Meepers55 I am also well aware of this annoyance! You can emit the object 1layer in front.. So when it spawns out glitched then it spawns in the intended layer. The other option it placing a new emitter. As the error usually occurs when you change the emitted, object.. So using a fresh new emitter should get rid of the problem, just as long as u don't update/change the emitted object. Hope this helps.

    Im working on a rpg 3d game with the same mechanics as this video. But are there any ways i can make the controls (rotate the bot) easilier? I mean, making it more comfortable? It feels awkward moving around lol

      ***** You could have the rotation hooked up into the right analog, or make a targeting system to determine which way the character faces?

    Hey Danx, i like this concept, but how would I make them work in a versus multiplayer level, where each bot copies the costume that the user is using and everyone can respawn separatedly( like if player 1 dies, only player 1 will respawn not everyone)?
    (Sorry for the bad english m8, im brazilian)
