Body Paragraph 1: To commence with, parents play pivotal role in nurturing their offspring character. Parents are the first teachers and it is well known fact that children learn and imitate their parents and family members. So, it is essential that parents must be good models for their children and inculcate best values and qualities in them, such as honesty, morality, respect towards others, as children listen and trust their parents words than anyone else. To exemplify, a survey conducted on juvenile delinquents in USA revealed that, the prime reason for committing crimes early in their life is the lack of societal behaviour guidance by their parents. Therefore, parents must educate their children to become virtuous citizens in the future. Body paragraph 2: On the other hand, mentors also play essential role in shaping pupils character. School lay the first foundation towards building a bright career. School not only is a place to learn subjects but also imbibe discipline, good manners, empathy and sharing nature. Mentors make students aware of consequences they will face if they do any misdeed by giving punishments. As a result, pupils develop a habit of not doing bad things. Hence, teachers role is vital in moulding a student life through their valuable moral lessons. Conclusion: In conclusion, I strongly opine that inorder for a child to become a good citizen in future, both parents and teachers play equally important roles.

Yes ...I also heard that one sided opinion is better...and it is good if you make separate opinion paragraph to give opinion ...not in conclusion..what you think about it..
I always stick to one side approach. However, I just write about other side at the start of body paragraph 1 after introduction. I had IELTS exam on 5th Dec. Let's c what band scores I end up with.

In the question prompt of any essay, it is clearly mentioned to give relevant examples from YOUR OWN KNOWLEDGE or personal experience. Hence, giving a fake survey will show the examiner that we have understood the theme and will strengthen our response. However, you may also replace this with your own experience if any. Writing a survey is not mandatory. It is written to explain your point clearly. You may state your own experience instead. Moreover, the evidence that we indicate should be relevant to the topic that is being discussed. It need not be a real, valid one.
