    I am amazed that no one is talking about hypochlrous amazing stuff it is a salt based ph neutral also kills microbes. And so safe its used for blepharitis of the eyes. Its amazing stuff and fairly cheap.

      Hi I’ve been asking on a lot of videos but no one has responded, I was wondering while using the saline spray do I have to use the gauze/ wipe ? A lot of people just say to spray it and dry with paper towel. What do you think I should do ?! I NEED HELP 😭

      I have not heard of this. I’ve only heard people recommend saline sprays and salt water soaks.

    I heard that she mention you could downsize the Labret post. If it’s long after the initial swelling is done for six weeks has anyone ever done that with luck?

    • @nickj12
      @nickj12 Před 2 měsíci

      You just have to go to your piercer if you don’t feel comfortable changing the post yourself. My piercer gave me my post to downsize myself because I lived far away. Most went back to their piercers to downsize their posts after the 6 weeks are up.

      I just got a conch yesterday. My piercer told me to clean it w sterile saline solution (u buy it, dont make it urself) twice a day for ten days. After that she told me to stop so my body can take over and heal it. If u see any buildup u should clean it (u can do it in the shower w warm water to make it softer and then put saline solution on a q tip and gently wipe off the build up. If it doesnt heal fast/well u should prob keep cleaning

      Until it heals.

      @hybridangel3403 Před 2 lety +11

      For at least the entirety of the initial healing period. Eg. A lobe takes 6 weeks (intial healining stage) to form the space called a fistula which is a fixed space. And then you can change your earrings. But 6 months to heal

      No. You are at high risk of infection, bumps, etc whilst the wound is fresh

      hi, this answer is maybe too late, but I got my helix done yesterday, my piercer told me I could already clean it ONCE before sleeping the same day I got it, but i dont have to. and then 3 times a day just spray the solution onto the front and the back of the piercing and maybe take one of these wipes and gently pat the back of the piercing, so you can get rid of build up there

      @@seductiveblush I would not do that, especially not alone without a supervising professional. Changing your jewelry might result in an infection, this can cause the healing phase to prolong for months. I'd wait at least a month and then talk to the piercer who made the piercing and ask them about it. Mine told me I have to come in a month after for a check-up and possible jewelry change.

      2-3 months is the general time frame. You'll want to talk to your piercer about any lasting pain
