From Hallmark '87:
"Severe weather patterns observed from a child's perspective.
Narvon, Pennsylvania, 2003"
This feels like a darker version of how I saw storms as a child. I was obsessed with them; any time a severe setup was coming, I had to see it. I loved thunder and huge clouds. I still have to go out and watch storms come in or pass by. A lot of nostalgia and memories came through while listening to this. Such lovely composition from Hallmark '87 as always.
Saturday July 13 rainy day in southern New England, warm & humid.
I think this is one of the greatest ambient/vaporwave albums ever! No joke.
As someone who as a child got _irrationally_ freaked out by thunderstorms, this got under my skin ngl.
especially the warnings that came on the tv and radio. so nostalgic but so eerie.
I love Hallmark '87. One of my favorite musicians.
Signalwave artists are more of producers than musicians but yes he is one of the best.
kinda trippy to hear EAS warning in a signalwave track
I agree. It is a pretty but scary album at the same time isn't it?
it is slightly unsettling. but is more serene than that.
The transition from Distance to Looming gave me da bumps
Damn right now it's about to rain and the sky is very cloudy but it seems that the rain went somewhere else
2.5-Year NWS Trained Spotter Approved Album
The track called Mist hits the mark for me, I think just for that song alone is worth getting the album.
Thank you Hallmark'87, your work takes me places I didn't know existed.
I'm obsessed with this one! I love trying to place which twc promos and shows the samples are from. The EAS inclusion is great!
So far I have:
Track one: interstitial from "The Enemy Wind"
Track two: "The Weather Channel, for everything you do!"
The EAS weather announcements are beautiful and fit perfectly imo
Damn, this album is a trip and I'm a minute in. It's local. I heard Bechtelsville and Reading and my head spun
This music makes me reminisce especially most and calm.
love this
dang havent heard a hallmark album since the Resturant By the Basin
a lot of views for some strange video. congratulations, i love signalwave
Hallmark ' 87 never fails to impress me with awesome music.
This is my comfort album, just bought it on BC!
Supporting the artist is a win!
Man this record is dope, thanks for sharing! It's super listenable and imo it holds its own with some of the classic ambient vaporwave projects out there.
🖤🖤🖤
Wish I woulda found this sooner. I love storms and signalwave, what an incredible album.
This is a vibe. It's like being in a storm while disasosiating
This is so true, i'd like to imagine that you're alone in a underground panic room tuning to a weather report while waiting out a potentially dangerous storm heading towards your home. Especially for track 1 and 2.
great you activated my EAS i think
I love that somebody who seems so obsessed with storms like you has stumbled upon this album.
So good.
DOPE
good
I love this so much
Wonderful!
I love how I love in Pennsylvania and play Resident Evil
What timestamp does the EAS go off?
Came here from Anna.shitpost
