Couldn't agree more, Ethan would have given him the cards if he needs them that bad. I've been a sub on Ethan's channel from the beginning when he was opening in the kitchen.. There is ZERO DOUBT in my mind that the POS is one step away prison, he will be arrested..

Don't start assuming he's some sociopath committing felony crimes in the community. Who the hell knows? At this point, he deserves to be called out and embarrassed, and punished according to law in whatever establishment he's in. Nothing more.
People who scout for 30 and 40 years get players wrong, why would people think these "influencers" that know nothing about the sports can predict these players?
its not the influencers its the people who actually trust what these people are saying. People lack the knowledge and are way too gullible when they first come into the hobby and these idiots take advantage of it.

Maybe I’m just old and crusty, but I VIVDLY remember the old Brien Taylor, Kevin Maas, Jeff George, Andre Ware, etc. days when I was a kid. My parents REFUSED to spend big money on those cards for me back then and it really taught me lesson about getting sucked into the hype machine. Ever since then I have had a “wait and see” approach to this hobby I enjoy so much. I honestly can say I have never been influenced by a CZcamsr to go mortgage my life for a prospect.

Ethan is a good kid. He posted alot in our Sports Cards Obsession page many times when he was younger videoing opening what he bought at the card shops, stores ect. Hope that bastard gets caught.
Biggest problem with these influencers is they dont watch games. I love the Falcons, the hype on Ridder was always misplaced. Anyone who watched a single snap knew that.

I think influencers, investors, flippers, and dealers could do themselves a huge favor if they made videos showing their actual PC in their closets or basements or bedrooms or offices or wherever in its entirety of who they actually keep, how it’s displayed and stored and who it is

He could have bought THREE Bedard Young Guns. And that's provided he got them at retail, considering that it is impossible to buy at retail because of the Flip Bois, he likely paid secondary market price, which means he could have bought FOUR or FIVE Bedards for what he spent on retail.
Kurts Card Care became the dollar shave club of the card cleaning industry. Whatever juice/wax he is using in that bottle has probably been on the market for years. Dude probably buys the shit in a 55 gallon drum and puts in the cute little bottle with his sticker on it. I highly doubt it’s “100 handmade”. Sports Card Radio needs to send it to a lab and have the “juice” analyzed for what ingredients it contains

Am i the only one who thinks that top rookies should be difficult to pull? I like that Bedard is a tough find. To me, the hobby lost a lot of its enjoyment with "guaranteed hits per box." Back when base rookies of a star player were a tough pull is when it was the most fun.
Watched a recent video of an "influencer" asking other influencers what their biggest losses were/are. One said he "invested" 20K in Ian Book. I PC Notre Dame players and am pretty sure the only person that believed in Ian Book (in the NFL) was his mother. What's crazy to me is that people are still trying to sell his cards at "hype" prices (ie auto at 150-200) when they can be bought for less than 5 bucks. In other words "I overpaid, so I expect you to overpay so I dont lose anything"??????

The Bedard YG's are different... I've opened a bunch of blasters, 3 tins and also no Bedard, which is a bit unusual for Upper Deck products of years past. I'm not saying they're short printed, but sure seems that way to me. I also opened 2 boxes of OPC and got only one Bedard Marquee RC... I have however pull some Bedard inserts, a base silver glossey, and an orange Bedard Dazzler. Bedard has been a tough one for me, mch tougher to pull than Wemby.

Reference to the Cow Palace Sports cards show in San Francisco on March 22-24th.....$20 to park and $20+ to attend each day. Not to mention the deductible for the damage to your vehicle if it is still there when you leave. Is pretty expensive. I guess I'll pass and just walk down Market Street in SF. I would probably have better luck.
My favorite comment I heard recently was a cards value isn’t dr own by performance. It is driven by hype. 😂😂😂😂. Guess what. This isn’t its value. That is its inflated value. Learn the difference. A cards true value will always be determined by performance. Hype can disappear in a blink. Don’t pay for the hype. Ever. Do your own research.

Went to the Dallas card show this weekend and there was a guy there that had a ton of Baker rookies. Like legit had at least 30 NT RPAs amongst others and all I could think was he must have easily lost 25k if not 50k with that "investment"

I've been buying hobby, blasters, megas and tins of Upper Deck hockey for EVERY series since 2016. I LOVE Upper Deck Hockey. This is the 1st time I couldn't get a mega, 1 hobby box, 1 tin, and 2 blasters because of these jerks. Hell, I couldn't even get a single pack at retail/msrp. I will NEVER support anyone who resells/scalps products still in print at double or more msrp. /end old man rant.
I had no clue about Ethan getting ripped off. No matter who the shop owner is, it sucks to have anyone steal from you. After looking at the list of items on the 3k he spent, he should have went all hobby with 6 YG per box as a suggestion. It's not Kurt's fault, we all have a choice to buy it or not.

You would think that after the first or second time and you have seen the guy come into the shop, you'd put his oic up and ban him and also, press charges.
I'm guessing they didn't discover the pilfering until his 3rd time in there, and when they went back over the security footage from other days they found the additional thefts. You're probably not going to do a daily stocktake in a card store, so unless a staff member observed something dodgy or out of place it's not uncommon for retail theft to go unnoticed until your next stock count.
