I was wondering after you quench the blade, you run the edge along a glass bottle... Why? Just curious.... Also amazing work!
Yeah me too
well quenched steel have hardness about 62-65HRC and can scratch glass, bad one can't do that.
If it has a hardness level high enough to scratch the glass, it's fine. If it can't scratch the glass, he would reject it.
@@Koss-channel Oh, ok. Mostly see people check hardness with a file, never seen it done with glass. Learn something new everyday. Thank you for a quick response too! 👍
@@austinkreiger1765 well.... doing it with glass is on the safer side. A friend of mine tested his knife with an aggressive file and practically took the whole edge away with one swing.... it was still soft like butter and he had to scrape it. Glass can't do anything to steel.
So if you don't have material you can grind of, go for the glass
I love how he goes straight to the point and not make intros or other shit
Eggcelent Crumbs something that I rarely see on CZcams these days, but some of them are fine as long as they don’t loop the music or do some weird editing.

The only thing this blade is missing is your stamp. You need your logo man. Exceptional work with basic tools. Take a bow sir.
Why put a logo on something. Logos make products look terrible.
Peoples work alone should be advertisemant enough. Dont muck up good quality stuff with a piss poor logo
@@HuggyBear420 A logo is a way of building reputation, how would you know this was a Koss knife?
I agree that most logos look terrible, because people try to add their own flair to a logo with eccentric backgrounds.
The Koss' initials burned into wood like this, at the bottom of the handle would look great.
@@Tychohuybers Agree, it only has to be a very small logo. Koss' trademark. if painter Rembrand never put a logo, the night watch was not worth 100,000,000 USD
If not a logo,maybe a signature.
Excellent and accurate👌👌👍👍

Geez that looks cool
I have to admit that it's genius.
A knife is the last place anybody would expect one to keep their knife.
It really is. Since a lethal blade hidden inside a crane/walking stick already popular due to movies and games, people may expect it. But no one would expect a real knife hidden inside a wooden training/props knife
The good thing is that if the school asks; "It's just a little wooden knife"
