I love to see Paul finally having fun with these songs, but I really, really loved the way John and Paul went back and forth "everybody had a good year..."
His Overlord Upon High that part sucks. John lyrics don’t even make sense. They have nothing to do with the vibe of Paul’s lyrics. You can see how a Yoko had screwed his head up...Once he got away from Paul, he could t even write a decent song.
I like them. Everybody had a hard year, Everybody had good time, Everybody had a wet dream, Everybody saw the sunshine. Everybody had a good year, Everybody let their hair down, Everybody pulled their socks up, Everybody put their foot down. I think it fit perfectly with Paul's verses.
@@xblackcatx1312 Do you actually analyze Beatles songs like that , and not just enjoy them ? If you do , I am sure you could also check sentence structure and look for grammatical errors. Why stop there , they might have used double negatives.

Two great songs, I've always liked I've got a feeling, especially with John's counter verse(who else would write Everybody had a wet dream), and Blackbird, which is just classic McCartney, brilliant.

I’m the same. I was 12 when they were on Ed Sullivan Show. So .my teenage years ran parallel to “The Beatles” years.
Before 12 I was too young to know anything. So, my entire life I’ve been in love with him.
I’m old...but I grew up at the perfect time. I’m so grateful!
Still remember all those decades ago watching the Beatles perform this song on the roof top for the "Let it be" movie.

Since I was young I've always had music moods/phases, I'd go to listen to rush, metallica, van halen, pink floyd, all these bands are amazing, but it always came down to the Beatles.
