    What would a boat like this cost to run and maintain? I feel like this is something a pair of working professionals could afford after a bit of saving, but, what's the untold story you know...
    On a side note, money no object, so to speak, if they made a roughly 37 or 38 foot version of this boat, I would be willing to give up a bit of performance for the extra space and potential for it to be a proper weekend boat for a couple of couples.

    • @kutark
      @kutark Před 4 lety

      It is. Think if you and your spouse were both say engineers making 80 to 100k a yr which is perfectly reasonable, if you save 15k or so a year between the two of you for a a few years you'll have a solid down payment, finance the rest, and have the boat of your dreams, so to speak.
      I do think 400k is a lot for this size boat. 270 seems much more reasonable, but, it is attainable. Think of like a 2 or 3 million dollar yacht, even working professional couldn't hope to buy something like that. That's more than most couples would make in a lifetime.

  • @alexboyes2563

    Beautiful design outside, helm area questionable lack of view and support especially when standing up and using the fabulous performance if your looking for a sustainable 45/50 knots . The cabin area is extremely disappointing. Who would want to sit inside with no natural light. questioning why the design to look like and not have the option? especially with a price tag of around 400k .

      @bobnator1102 Před 4 lety

      @@robc3863 sleeping for 4 is just a result of being able to fit a separate cabin, so why not give an opportunity to transform the dinette table into another double berth just in case, I doubt it will ever be used. I also probably just a bit more comfortable with enclosed spaces, so I see no difference between a small porthole and nothing.

      To be fair it is a highest possible spec as fa as I could find out, and price goes down a lot with smaller engines. More reasonable spec with diesels and without the drop down platform is around 300k. As far as somebody I know closer to the project explained to me the idea is to be able specify anything between high quality mid-range day runabout to all-in statement piece. Also much controversial absence of portholes may change with model year upgrade although not confirmed just yet.

    Really don't see the point of this boat. Get fried in the sun with no roof. Rocks about at anchor so having a bbq in the sun on a rocking boat has little appeal.
