The leopard even before the top of tree was still the most played med
it was top 1 even when progetto 65 was nerfed man

I think WG may nerf the Leopard 1 IF they release a premium they want you to buy instead like with the Lion.
Which is funny given that the Lion is an actual "premium" Leopard 1 with the Italian gimmick attached. (I remain baffled by why Wargaming translated its name from Italian to English; it should be the Leone.)

They nerfed the Progetto for being too popular, and the Progetto at its height wasn't anywhere near the popularity of the Leopard 1.

@@jimbartz4356 its actually quite the opposite, prog65 was good, and was nerfed for some malicious reasons, meanwhile lotard1 is op as balls and wont be nerfed because of muh germoney accuracy plebs

IT WAS MISERABLE
I have found with sloooow TDs, its almost better to take a flank and try to win that flank. Even if you are glass cannon. Just sculk behind your tanks and poke to connect your rounds. Its harder to be caught out.
Not that it’ll matter much to WG, but the day they nerf the leopard into the ground is the day I delete wot forever. Pretty sure the reason they haven’t destroyed the Leo yet is precisely because they know that if they do they will lose a big chunk of those 600k playing it every month. But never underestimate WG’s willingness to destroy their own game!

When there are losts of Lepard in a team will cause a serious problem. I just experienced a game, there were 4 TDs in our team, and also 4 Lepard1+Lepard PTA in my team. All of them would like to be a sniper, and they all hided behid TDs in a single line, some of them even hided in the bottom of the map. In the end, we lost the game in 6 mintes.
Sounds just like the usual loss. 😂

People only play the Leo because of its sniper gun. Shell velocity+accuracy is what most people want

There is one of the pre-nerfed 4005. It was faster, better accuracy and, I think, better camo and lower reload times.
I can just imagine QB getting through all of the stats, crew skills, equipment, field mods and instead of saying "now lets get in to some gameplay" he says "now lets go take a walk and rethink our lives leading to this decision"

I think the autoloader is the reason progetto got nerfed again. It may look that its performing to similar levels as other tanks but we dont see all the statistics. Maybe the lower end of progetto players were still clocking way better than all the other tanks while not achiving as high exteme games. Average stats would appear normal but the effect on games is greater than simple winrates would show.

Vz 55 master class was amazing
Because it was the front of the turret when you shot the VZ-55, you can see he turned his gun exactly towards you before you fired at him.

Leopard game was sick
The bc25t got an ammo buff on console of around 10 extra rounds. Really helps. Was several months ago
If it’s getting buffed on pc, I’d imagine this is what you’re getting. I don’t think they did anything else to it.

An interesting video concept that can conclude 2 releasing videos. 1: Playing Historical WW 2 Axis tanks 2: Playing Historical WW 2 Allies tanks (including the soviets here).
It just seems to typical - while you're fighting the 430 and the M60 in the Leopard, the other Leopard on your team just sits there watching.
Those were some good games QB! To answer your question, my top three tier 10s are my Obj 261, Type 113, and either my Grille or T110E3. Love playing them! Other tier 10s I'm working towards right now include the Type 5 Heavy, ST-II, Maus, and T-57 Heavy.

Actually the 1 shot gun has the same reload as the 2 shot, 11 sec reload and 22sec for the 2 shot. The only real trick to it is the 2 shot tap but after that they come around and dpu you down. The 1 shot has always been the better choice consistency wise.
Leopard1 was overbuffed it to the point of perfection. Its better than progeto65 ever was. It is the most powerful tier 10 medium currently and in history of wot (maybe second to peak 430u) and the most popular one.
And it wont be nerfed
This is just not the case, too many corridor/closed maps for it to be the most powerful.

That EBR game is just an example of how bad the Airfield map is, even with the changes. Airfield, Ensk, Mines, Paris, and Himmelsdorf need to be reworked; Ensk and Mines especially need to be twice as large for tier 8 and up. Airfield is so bad because it is always a heavy stalemate and the hill is watched like a hawk by the stagnant TD nests. Honestly, the old design was far better than WG's "fix".

About the Leopard : I really don't want WG to nerf it. Although I do love this tank
basically my fav tank, and by far, I think i'm pretty safe saying it's not OP at all
it would be ridiculous decisious to nerf a tank when ppl just like to play it. Not because it's op, but bc it's confortable.
And honestly, I, just as at least 50% of ppl playing this char, am really bad at it. It's just so much fun
You're biased and just don't want your favourite tank to get balanced. There is a reason why people tend to play good performing tanks instead of underperforming tanks

@@falcon6329 I understand your opinion on that one, but in my reality, ppl around me, and content creators I follow, tend to say it's not THAT great, and it's mostly fun, and pretty much outclassed by some other char at the moment. And it's been that way for more than 1 year.
Here, K91 is way easier to play in teamplay. M60 is great too.
Let's not talk about the progetto. Not broken IMO but still hella stronk, right ?
Bat chat is also one of the most played tank recently, and it's dogsh*t... I mean no, but there is better char.
Popularity doesn't mean broken...
And whenever you look out for a guide about wot, what tank should you play, what tank is the best at each role, what tank to start the game... Leo always come in the top, BUT ppl always say : huge learning curve. Not for beginners, mostly "unicums" will perform on the tank. If it's not easy, and strong, it's by """""definition""""" not broken, just skilled. And thus, balanced. My opinion tho, and you are welcome not to be okay with it.
PS : I'm... Glad? I finally encoutered someone that actually thinks Leo1 deserves a nerf. I think opinion's just as buthole, everyone has it's own...

I find this idea to use popularity as criteria for balancing tank stats quite dubious. Because it involves to a large part subjectivity. And can go both ways.
Do u remember the Tiger 1 and 2 evolution? Everybody knew that in the past, 10 years ago or so, the Tiger 1 and 2 were rather weak. But they have always been played alot by tank and history enthusiats.
And consequently the needed buffs were rejected by pointing to this popularity for many many years. Not good.
It is just not reasonable to put emotional commitment and objective stat efficiency into one bucket.

6:01 man you should have been a bit more aware, your teammates just too 1.2k dmg, that's definitely the fv shooting so it's probably time to push, or ugh, maybe it was arty shooting a grille.
Brit wheeled mediums should get hesh. It would make them a lot more interesting. Not sure about the Con 5 being faster than EBR from a balance perspective.
If Wargaming nerf the Leopard 1 I will honestly uninstall the game
