Disney Doppelgangers: Alice & Wendy

Alice from Alice in Wonderland (1951) and Wendy from Peter Pan (1953) are very much alike and were both voiced by the same actress, Kathryn Beaumont.
They both have similar, cherubic faces and bright eyes along with the same proper victorian voice. They are conflicted between lady-like behavior and their desire to go on a grand adventure. Each has the opportunity to travel to a magical and imaginative land and both decide that what they really want is to find their way home.
Both characters were voiced by and modeled after British actress Kathryn Beaumont. She was 13 years old when she voiced Alice and 15 for Wendy and you get a sense that Wendy is a more mature version of Alice. Here she is talking to Walt Disney on the set of Alice in Wonderland.

These Alice and Peter Pan are one of my favorite classic Disney movie along with classics like Pinocchio, jungle book, Winnie the Pooh the fairy tales are Cinderella, little mermaid, sleeping beauty, and beauty and the beast, even Snow White.

The actress who played them actually performed live action as they animators drew her frame by frame in Alice in Wonderland~ i'm not sure if they did the same in Peter Pan but maybe they did.
All of Walt Disney's animated films during his era had live action references for the animators to animate.

Kathryn Beaumont later reprised these two roles years in her 50s, but only in Kingdom Hearts.

Alice and Wendy are two fake twins. Great similarities from the outside. But their stories and their temperaments are totally different. And I much prefer Alice, my little Lidijela.

There was also a brief scene when Peter Pan, Wendy, John and Michael land on the clock. Watch Wendy closely, she uses her night gown as a parachute like Alice's dress was when she fell down the rabbit hole.

Here is why it's because they are voiced by the same voice (actress)
I always thought they were the same then I find out in this video they were both voice by the same girl
and also I thought dorthy and Alice and Wendy were all the same ,they all are literally the same
More than that, Beaumont had pictures taken of her in character that the animators used for reference.
They did that for Alice but I'm assuming they also did that for Peter Pan.
Most Disney characters or senses are they same cause they either scrap the character into a new one or take a sequence and scarp/reuse it in a new movie. It was either due a low budget or they were rushed to release the movie on it's set date.

They do not look anything alike. They are not doppelgangers, even though they have the same voice actress. Look up the definition of doppelganger.
