As per your suggestions I have disasembled my clock successfully! I have now ordered a replacement part and am eager to have my lovely clock working again. Nothing against digital but I love my old clocks
My mom recently passed and my daughter found a heart shaped clock she wanted to keep that belonged to grandma. The clock does not work so I told her I would replace the mechanism. I don’t understand why you didn’t adjust the two hands + the sweep (seconds) when first positioning them? and before inserting the battery?
