The Good Samaritan Act is a real law in USA in all 50 states , of course how it's in Seinfeld is not whats in reality .
The Good Samaritan law and Federal laws for specific circumstances , were written to protect physicians from liability when rendering care outside their usual clinical setting . Law offers legal protection to those who help another in a real emergency, or life-or-death situation .

33:26 A thing with this show versus many other sitcoms though, especially the more current ones, is that they actually filmed in front of a live studio audience. So the laugh track is actually people laughing at things that are funny, not just something that was added later in post-production so that you know where and when they want you to think that something is funny. It makes a big difference.

This probably isn't the best way to be introduced to Seinfeld. Firstly, it didn't really hit its stride until season three. And the final consisted of callbacks to episodes you haven't seen, but is a goodbye to the fans. I suggest "The Contest" and "The Outing" from season 4

Episodes have jokes and storylines that continue on for a long time. It's very connected, even if individual episodes each have their own events. I'd never recommend someone just watch a random episode in the middle of the series, for example. It just won't be as funny to them as it would have been if they had been along for the whole ride. Then they'd walk away from it saying that they didn't think it was as good as they hype for it.

This FIRST and LAST episode thing doesn't really work for me. TV shows invariably become something very different from what you see in the FIRST episode. In the first episode of Seinfeld, you are really seeing very early permutations of the characters. They are not fully realized yet and if you watch the series they are quite different from the iconic characters that fans of the show know. Also, some shows DON'T stick the landing and Seinfeld happens to be one of those show. The finale was panned. So, in a way, you watched Seinfeld....but you didn't. At least not in the way most people know the show, or at it's best.

This show, unlike many others, does infact have continuity and character flow, which leads everything up to their ultimate demise for being such horrible people in the final episode. The entire show covers various everyday situations that we all experience, and the discussions that come with those situations. You'll learn a ton about men, and you'll learn a ton about life. It's one of those shows that you really just don't expect to be as deep as it really is.

It really plays into so much of the humor of the show, because there’s something both satisfying and hilarious about seeing shitty people getting the proverbial “pie in the face”. Seinfeld is the one comedy show that never really jumped the shark. Meaning, it didn't have a breaking point where it got considerably worse or started going off on tangents like dramatic relationships and marriages or developing other sappy storylines. They stuck to the roots, kept that comedic tension, and didn't stray or pander to mediocre story developments (like for example Friends where everybody started getting married, having kids, and stopped being funny). Seinfeld got a little weaker in the last season or two, but never cringy or bad. It just dropped a level or half and they decided to end it while it was still strong. Watching the top 10 episodes would be a pretty great experience following this intro as there were some very clever, funny, and even shocking ones (as in you were shocked that they pushed things that far back then). Definitely along the same lines as Curb Your Enthusiasm, but maybe a bit more colorful and inventive with the storylines. The Office is great too, so if you liked that, you would like the bulk of Seinfeld. And even the Office jumped the shark, with Jim and Pam getting married probably being that moment, and was kind of worse not long after and definitely in the last few seasons.

You should honestly look up a list of the top rated episodes and do a poll. The first and last episodes don’t really give you a great idea of what this show really was at its best. The pilot is from when they barely had any idea what they were doing yet and the final episode completely relies on you having some knowledge of all the events being talked about in the court case which all happened in much better episodes.

The first ep of a sitcom needs to introduce characters, the situation etc., which leaves less room for humour. You usually get a good idea of a sitcom after watching the first 2 eps of it.

The first episode was just okay, but the actors didn't yet understand the characters. The last episode was not very good and quite different from the ordinary episodes in the show. There we years of brilliant episodes in the early and middle periods, though. Unfortunately, what you've done won't give you an accurate sense of the show.
