I am concerned about Marte. I think about him all the time. I miss 2022 Marte. I hope his groin feels better.
Thinking that's why Stewart is gonna be hanging around
Marte is the new Jason bay .He swings wild .
If Keller had not plugged him, in 2022, they would have had at least 102 wins. If Keller had not fractured his finger, and Diaz didn't go down last year, things would have been greatly different (I think), last year, even with Sherzer and Verlander's woes. I don't agree with this commentary. You're too hard on him. I was excited for this year, because both Marte (who is the most infectious player on the team), and Diaz would be back. He is my favorite player to watch, when he is healthy.
What is gained by reviewing a player who was obviously not 100% last season? Let's be positive about this season.
The said player is 35 years old, coming off double groin surgery, and making $20M for the next two years. I’d say the concern is well justified.
