So many people are saying that its her choice and fault and if she really wanted to recover she would recover.. but it's almost impossible to recover if your closest ones are abusing you and actually make it hard for you to do so. I think a lot of people failed this girl who had very deep and loving soul. She may look badass but underneath all of that there was a girl with old soul. And sadly our world is full with careless and harsh people...

11 years ago today she joined the notorious 27 Club. So sad. Music lives on.
She would still be alive if her label didn’t force her into 25-50 shows. She doubled down on the booze and drugs out of fear and stage fright. She was extremely nervous at the beginning of her career and just started doing more and more to not be nervous. She never thought she was great or any performance good enough.
Amy was one of the most original artist of all time she is one of the few singers that sound better live than on recordings, and her dancing was just as original. RIP Amy.

I love her strong raspy and very soulful Motown voice that she has. Wow!
Not only did she have a pure and natural talent for singing coupled with remarkable musical and interpretive instincts, but she had SUCH a compelling presence. She was so tiny but her energy took up that ENTIRE stage and that is something that you cannot learn. It is something that comes from deep within that you radiate and emanates out of your being. Not to take anything from Adele, but she was performing right before Amy and the difference in size of her presence and Amy’s is vast. You can actually feel an energetic shift as the vibrations are heightened the moment Amy walks out. What a soul. What a gift. And the loss is ours.
she looked way more intoxicating while singing but, she talked normally + sober in the end. she was also motherly in real life but when it came to musics she was so childish not even trying to hide it.
Honestly let’s be honest, they paraded her around knowing damn well the last thing she needed was a stage in front of the world. This was literally one year after her Rehab debute. RIP

I don’t think that’s a nod as much as asking if they are going for another verse. Meaning she forgot where she was in the song. It’s fine, as that happens, but this performance is uncomfortable for me. She does not look like she loves being there. That said she still did an amazing job.

This is one of my favorite performances of Amy's, yet I never really noticed how she was moving away from the camera and behind MR's guitar till now.
I mean I noticed, but I assumed she was being gracious (a characteristic that's very common among the greats imho).
But, I think it was because Amy could be shy more often than we might imagine. Another trait that is common among the greats.

You can see how much she is enjoying herself here, one of the only preferences she genuinely seems happy, her energy goes unmatched and despite her being shoved out on stage when it wasn't right too she always showed her natural, god given talent. With all the revelations about Britney I can't even imagine what was happening too Amy behind closed doors. I love that you can see the band killing it, they genuinely seem so proud and humbled to perform with someone as iconic and gifted as Amy was, still is!
