Did that with 3 samples. All are now showing new leaves in just less than a week. Well watered, placed under my giant elm tree shading them from the scorching sun. One problem though - one of the cuttings I've planted upside-down, even though I tried to be very careful with that part. It's showing new green buds. I'll let it sit and see how it develops.
This method is really that easy. Cut the proper piece, work the root area, some turmeric, stick it in the soil, water - let it sit. No covering, no special treatment. Just water once every two days. The soil i use is just some soil i collected form different parts of my garden.

Followed the steps as you showed & couldn't believe my eyes. My curry leaf plant literally started to scion. It took a month & a half to scion. It's almost two & a half months now, small baby leaves are visible 🌿.
    Thank you so much 😊❤️

I have been busy with my curry plant for many years. It is a joy to find out what this plant likes and how to grow her happily. My plant is growing in the desert for many years now and for the first time she grew a new plant by herself. Exciting. I will try the shown method as well. It sounds like a wonderful way to grow more of these amazing plants. Thank you for your inspiration!

I tried it , and I am surprised to see I started growth of tiny leaves in two weeks itself !! I planted two stems (upper part and the lower part seperately), so that if one fails , one will succeed. I didn't keep it in direct sunlight. And watered it daily once because the climate is lil chill only .I hope it grows as a big plant soon:-).Thanks for sharing such an easy method.

One tips: only water the plant when the soil is dry cause curry leaves plant usally dont like so much water and it often rot easily

    Hi..very informative session.
It was a perfect guide for planting cuttings.
I actually tried 1 cutting in water, and it sprouted leaves already.
    1. Should I plant it now in soil or should I wait further?
Also I planted 2-3 cuttings together in 1 pot and they also have sprouted.
    2. How long should I wait to put them in sun.
    3. And should I take each one out and plant individually now or leave them as they are right now?
    Kindly answer

Thank you for very clear step by step process in your video and final results. What I would like to know is that I have a Kaddi Patta plant,(in a pot, inside my house due to cold weather in NE USA) which has just grown in length, almost 5 feet or so. Leaves are only existing in the top 5 feet. Other length is bare after harvesting leaves for cooking purpose. The trunk at the bottom is slightly thicker than pencil thickness (brown for first 2 feet); the rest(3 feet) being green.
My question is, can I make 3 or more saplings from the bottom 3 feet -almost 1 foot high each?
Also, another question, why don't we get more branches on the trunk, once branches are harvested along the trunk 9starting from bottom?

Hi, I've planted a curry leaf plant stem on 12th April (a month back) and I believe it has successfully rooted and thus showing signs of fresh growth. Although, I'm noticing that along side the 1 leaves stem, there is also a growth of what looks like baby seed pods. I need to understand, if it's safe to cut off the seed pod stem to enhance plant leaves growth or it''s ok to leave it as it is and it won''t affect the general plant growth. P.S. I think the stem should''ve grown more leaves in a month 🙄

I have 2 baby curry plants given by my neighbour. One the leaves all dried up and fell the other still remains greens. The one with fallen leaves still have roots. I kept it planted on a small pot. Do you think leaves will grow eventually?
I plant both baby curry plants in a small pot. It's not even a feet tall yet. Please let give me some advices how to make the curry plant grow well. I don't want to risk the healthy baby plant from dying 😓
