Just because you don’t know him doesn’t make him underrated.
My 8 yrold sings and perform the dance in public. He also a big Smokey Robinson fan. Its made me re appreciate Motown. Im 61
The greatest soul music song ever and the Temptations in their prime. It doesn't get any better than that. Ruffin even did the lip-syching perfectly.
David Ruffin's voice and confidence jumps off the screen. Looks like he's just messing around in this video and yet his performance is still better than anything you'll see today. Watching this as a grown man I now see why my grandparents loved this group so much.
I love the Temptations. My boyfriend use to sing this song to me. He took me to see them at the Front Row Theater. Thank you for the great music 🎶
Hello!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day… Stay Safe!
Your so blessed🤩
In which year did they this music? Or show?
I am 30 and love this song good music doesn’t have an age limit
Smokey sure could write some great songs, this is my song for my daughter
I was born in 1953, grew up with all the best of music! From Bluegrass, to Soul, to Rock-n-Roll! I saw so many concerts, todays kids will never see! I saw the Bee Gees when all were still alive! 4 rows from the front! I treasure my memories!
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way
My girl, my girl, my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
My girl
I've got so much honey
The bees envy me
I've got a sweeter song
Than the birds in the trees
Well, I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way
My girl, my girl, my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
My girl
Ohh ohh
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Oh yeah
I don't need no money, fortune, or fame
I've got all the riches baby one man can claim
Well I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way
My girl, my girl, my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl, my girl, talkin' 'bout my girl
I've got sunshine on a cloudy day with my girl
I've even got the month of May with my girl
Talkin' 'bout, talkin' 'bout, talkin' 'bout
He said ," He's got so much honey, the bees envy him" ❤ Hot Damn!

Good for you, you have great taste. I'm thinking that you probably have a future in music. So good to see that young people can appreciate music from the golden era.
I'm 13 and addicted
Watch the movie. Temptations.
2021 and you still won't find a song with so much depth n levels as this...pure gold this right here
Eh that's a stretch. There are many, many songs that reach this level. If you dont think so, expand your listening.
I never get tired listening to this, i think its that guitar playing , ok, its the whole entire song!
Pure gold
Listening in 2022 already
Thank you Smokey Robinson for writing a great song.
I wish we could go back to those days
My dad used to always sing this song to me. We danced to it for our father daughter dance at my wedding. Sadly he passed away 6/18/22. I listen to this song and close my eyes and see him smiling and singing this song to me. I’d love to hear him just one more time ❤
You will find comfort in music . RIP

This SONG is simply THE BEST. You hear it & you automatically hear & see the Temptations. Awesome.

Im 24 and can say I love motown music and nobody my age really cares for it.. guess im a young wise old music soul😮💨
This song came out when I was a teen and shot straight to number 1 on the Billboard Charts immediately. Stayed at number 1 for weeks. Even before they recorded it, the Temptations and Berry Gordy stated later on, that they knew it was going to be a number 1.
This was the golden era of R&B.
They danced and sang with a passion ,this track has no second.
this got nothing to do with R&B.
nunya
@@metalvideos1961 please enlighten me more .
very grateful.
@@adobaikie8779 learn what R&B stands for. it stands for Rhythm and blues. does this sound like blues to you? not really right
You really haven't said anything maybe you should define R&B properly .
Such a breath of fresh air natural instruments no half naked women just pure music
One day we'll look for this song and we'll never find it after Smokey's gone .
My mom's favorite song. She's been gone six years and it kills me to hear it still

When I hear this song, I think of my adopted daughter from another Mother. She is My Girl and I love her and I'm on this Earth to keep her going, good day or bad. I love her as if she were my own. I love you Jessica. ♥️🌹🥰😍☝️🙏
The Temtations, when music was the best. No need to jump around screaming, these guys had pure talent.
The best.
The Temptations are so talented and the way they dance to the song is really amazing.
Hello!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day… Stay Safe!
I think it was 1966 but don't quote me on that.
Why can’t singers sound like this today with class, instead of crap
Because they don’t have that level of talent, soul and charisma.
Auto tune was a cheat code that took away talent of this generation. We will never experience something like this ever again.
@@2700JayOfficialPage … So true.
Classic!
This song will never ever ever get old!!!
My favorite group growing in the '60s. Great vocals, harmony and positive, romantic message.
@@user-zr9bw1xb7d No, from 1965.

I totally agree; best Motown song ever, imo.
Loved the tv film. Their early songs really knock you off your socks.
