How to make nyiiri (millet dumpling) with okra sauce

www.saheldesign.com/blog/ Charlie Davies of SAHEL design takes a cookery lesson in Burkina Faso. This is the process for making "nyiiri" (Fulani millet tô). The Fulani are semi-nomadic cattle herders who live throughout the Sahel region of West Africa. Nyiiri is their staple food. I don't really understand why the video has been age restricted - I can only think it is because the mother is breastfeeding her child in one part. A completely natural and normal part of family life in the Sahel.

Millet is a real supergrain that I useto make fermented Millet drink, KUNU ZAKI, as well as my vegan burger named WOTSUPA. I even eat it in place of meat protein in spaghetti and meatballs! Simple works too. We would call this meal Tuwo and Miyan Okro 😁
