I agree. A couple of days earlier in October 1986, BB King played at Warsaw Jazz Jamboree Festival . I had that concert taped on VHS many years ago, unfortunately the tape is long gone. It was a brilliant performance , just like the one at Umeå, although played for a larger audience.
BB sure was on another level not just the bends on his strings but the way he hit every note he sings with his entire body. You just feel it. Blessed to have 70 + years of music to dive through

Because more CZcams users like Billie Eilish than B.B. King? Because there are lots of B.B. King concerts relative to the number of Billie Eilish concerts? Because most people want to watch more recent concerts more often than concerts from the 80s, and more of those people are on CZcams? Because there are many, many great blues artists sharing a small audience and not that many great electronic pop artists sharing a huge audience? I can see all kind of reasons, and I don't see why it's sad. Both are great artists in completely different fields with no way to compare them. There's only one B.B. King, but I would take nothing away from Billie Eilish's talent or her and her brother's contributions to contemporary music. She will be remembered as just as significant an artist as Madonna, Prince, or even Elvis.
It's sad because there are people in this world who completely don't understand today's music. [ I count myself among them ]. Today's youngsters seem to have a drastically different taste as regards music than people senior them.
