    Bought it off Amazon. Received it in 2 days. Disconnected the P-Trap, attached the bladder unit to the hose running from the Garden. Put the unit w/hose into the pipe. Clog was about 3 yards from the sink. Couldn't get it with Liquid Plumr, Pequa or a plunger w/hot water. Turned on the Garden hose and 3 minutes later the clog was gone. If this didn't work I would have had to call a plumber and paid at least $250. AMAZING PRODUCT. Every house should have one.

    Had a plugged up drain line for washer, had the line snaked by plumber, still plugged. Picked up a Drain King at the local hardware and in 10min. or less my drain was free and clear of clog. This is a GREAT product.

    Like others have said, worked like a champ after Drano, plunger, and a snake failed. I could not get the snake/auger past about the 6 foot mark. Decided to give the Drain King a try. Two things to note; this will only work if you have a full blockage to allow for the build up of pressure and be careful putting this product before any under sink fittings. It may blow them out. I put it straight into the wall under the sink past the trap.

    It blew out the kitchen drain line just as advertized after snaking it for 30 minutes with minimal result...Drain King opened and flushed the line in 3 minutes...Thanks!

    Damn wish I found this thing years ago. I tried baking soda coke snakes etc. Nothing worked. Ran across this and got in from a local supplier and within 10 minutes had my sink apart took out stopper and put this device in part way. It wouldnt fit all the way in my sink drain and I didnt have the PE60 pieces but I watched and worked slowly 5 minutes later my sink was fixed! This thing is amazing!

    This is a sore subject for me. I purchased a Drain King to blow out my swimming pool lines. It worked beautifully. My friend asked me to come over and do yhe same thing to his pool. I did and it blew out his clog from the skimmer. First thing he did was run over and attempt to pull the bladder out. I don't know how many times I yelled out to leave it! He still grabbed the hose and pulled it. Hard. I was still yelling no don't touch it, dont pull it out. Still he played deaf. He ripped my new bladder. I was trying hard to contain my anger to see what he would say to me. He said, oh im sorry ill buy you a new one. I still had the Drain King packaging, it was thst new. I have it to him and told him where i bought it. He took and and a vouple weeks later ge handed me a bladder from HARBOR FREIGHT. I hesitantly accepted it but I did mention it wasn't the same brand and was a much cheaper version. I didn't need to use a bladder again for a couple of years, and when I did, I was furious. It was clearly an inferior product and it didn't work the same. I did not pulsate and it stayed stuck for a long time even after unscrewing the hose. DONT SETTLE FOR A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE. BUY A DRAIN KING. It comes in different sizes.

    • @alanguages
      @alanguages Před 9 měsíci

      In the instructions, you are not to use hot water. The hot water will possibly destroy the rubber and likely be stuck in the pipe itself. It will make the product useless and a new hard rubber clog on your drain, on top of the already existing clog.@@Willykamera

    need more information. does the ball shrink after the clog has cleared ? or do you have to turn the water off ?
    also, how much water does it use ? any idea of gallons per minute ?

    • @dyoel182
      @dyoel182 Před 7 lety +1

      It will shrink down about half the size once the clog is out or further down because it can flow freely. Turning the water off will shrink it to normal size and let you pull it out. It's using the same or less water than running your sink for a few minutes so it's not a big deal at.

    • @thedevilsapprentice6302
      @thedevilsapprentice6302 Před 5 lety +5

      No, it will not change in size because the clog has been removed. The only way to adjust the "size" is by adjusting the flow of water to the drain king. Once you turn on the water, it swells up and seals itself against the pipe, preventing backflow.
      Nowhere on any type of packaging, nowhere in this video, not ever or anywhere was it said that when the blockage clears it reduces half in size. That is a baseless assumption, regardless of you stating your opinion as if it were fact.

    • @richardburchett
      @richardburchett Před 3 lety

      It stay full as long as the water is running through it. Turn off the hose and the water will push out of it and the bladder shrinks down.

    • @henryguo2979
      @henryguo2979 Před 2 lety +2

      If the clog is very hard, it will keep the pressure in the ball and pipe. I keep it working nearly 30 minutes, but the clog was still there. I have to shut off the faucet, there were lots of water flow back to my kitchen. So it can only deal with some easy cases. Finally a guy used 50 feet sneak to finish the job. He told me it was very hard clog.

      Both the toilet and the tub were hopelessly clogged.
      I tried everything from super plungers, chemicals to the soap and hot water trick, nothing worked.
      Then I saw this product on a CZcams video and gave it a try.
      It blew the clog out a few seconds after I turned on the water.

      Lady Lyssa
      they snakes it and u still have trouble. as a general rule if ur toilet is good then the clog is either from the shower/tub or sink as they drain into the toilet drain or stack. if they snakes it, it's not properly vented or they just ripped u off and didn't clear the clog. good luck.

    • @slowtaknow
      @slowtaknow Před 4 lety

      Maybe, check the outside clean out to see where the clog is first, you should have a breather vent on the tube, if you could fit it in there it should work, that is if you can get beyond the drain tee

      I used to automatically think hot water for clearing out grease and scum from pipes but then had a pro out to snake out a main line to our septic in a house we rent out. Renters had been using the kitchen sink carelessly and lots of grease build up. Cold water hardened the grease so that it would come off in chunks versus hot water which would just make it slimy and soupy. Made sense and when he showed me the solid grease chunks coming off and flowing into the open septic tank, I realized for some tasks, cold is way better. That might not be why this product needs cold water though. Could be so no to ruin the bladder with scalding water or have it burst and spew hot water at the user. But may have to do with the reason I mentioned about moving grease build up. I can’t wait to buy one of these gadgets and give it a go. As a landlord, I need every trick in the book.

      @@kmo2397 ....you'll need to clearly state in the lease or the rider what absolutely cannot be dumped or placed into any drain--tub/shower, all sinks and especially the toilet. A big problem now is with supposedly flushable wipes clogging up the main drain. Tenants are sometimes careless, at other times--just plain stupid as a brick. When there's a fee to unclog, they get the message quickly and become aware of their actions. Check with an atty if fees are legal by you.

  • @thedevilsapprentice6302
    @thedevilsapprentice6302 Před 5 lety +2

    Hahaha!
    Yeah, stick that thing down a lavy and crank on the water and blow your p-trap apart. Flooding your house.
    [We'll pretend the p-trap stays together]
    Well, neither the drain king, or your garden hose will make the bend in the trap. If your clog happens to be at the waste arm, or beyond (statistically speaking it will be) the water will take the path of least resistance. Now, instead of "removing" the clog, the water will just fill your vent. Hoping there's no leak on the lavy venting, and water didn't just come pouring through the walls; all the water that was just pumped in there... is still in there.
    But wait, what's this? There's no way to verify if the line is flowing, because there's currently a water weenie jammed in your p-trap. Neat! So, when you shut the water off, and your drain is still plugged, all the water will come flooding back out of the sink. This way, you get to hire a restoration AND a plumbing company. See, isn't learning fun!? And you still get to keep your Drain King. (water weenie)

      Forgot to say it worked perfectly for me. Took the p trap off. Put the water hose as far as I could behind the sink. Made a lot of scary noises and was trying to blow back out of the pipe but it finally gave away. I had rice all stuck in the pipe if anyone was curious that does read this. It was my fault I put the bag of rice in the garbage disposal and it was just a disaster. Lesson learned
