- A man has been convicted of murder after Met detectives used CCTV and phone data to prove his guilt.
Following a nine- week trial at the Old Bailey, which started on 17 October 2023, Courtney Ellis, 38 (19.02.85) of Mafeking Avenue, Brentford, was found guilty of the murder of Michael Small, known as Craig, in an apparent escalation of gang tensions.
He was also found guilty of attempted murder of a different man and perverting the course of justice.
He was sentenced at the same court on Friday, 2 February to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 35 years.
Christopher Kyei, 37 (11.11.86) of Lower Road, Chorleywood, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice at the same trial. Both will be sentenced at the same court on 2 February

its not that simple... when you can't get a job like your white or asian counterparts in 80s and 90s young black youth had to take to the streets to earn a living. Prior to that.. their fathers had it tough too, unemployed, fighting bigots and racist national front... there are many factors at play as to why the youth take to the streets. Plus the road life is indiscriminate to all races in recent times.

@@adgeyuk9803 it's kinda like how you can be charged with affray without actually doing anything, because the law argues that your presence alone is enough of a deterrent to stop someone from defending themselves/fighting back so your presence alone can cause more severe harm to the victim.

I'm from Monks Park, and this tos vs. cr aka stonebridge vs church road beef is probably the longest beef ever. It started in the 80s, but it was only petty fights , then it changed in the 2000S, and the younger generations have inherited it. Madness!
There have been murders in Monks Park, but those two back to back killings of both smallz and kwasi were crazy. Everyone in ends was scared for the next few weeks. Rest in peace to the civilians that got killed in this beef , both James and kwasi.

Not only would it be educational to people who don't know too much about the legal system and about remand time being deducted off your sentence if you have indeed been on remand whilst charged for an offence, but it's also confusing to people who will eventually see he is free and then think your video wasn't fully informative.
