It is a classic case of Oda forgot. We see something barely being some hundred meters taller than sea level and it is magically 50k tall. Which means that theoretically the body you see above water being some hundred meters, even lets say a kilometer, is just 1 out of 50km and the rest 49kms are just legs underwater.
There is no way it looked like hundred meters. Luffy looked like a dwarf compared to oars. Oars looked like a dwarf compared to whole thriller bark. Thriller bark looked a like a toy compared to these monsters and these monsters were far away.
I THOUGHT SEA BEHEMOTHS IS ACTUALLY THE SHADOWS OF PEOPLE ON SKYPIEA. THE MOMENT LUFFY BEAT ENEL, PEOPLE FROM JAYA COULD SEA THE SHADOWS OF LUFFY ON THE CLOUD IN THE SKY.

Just to clarify. When Luffy was in Skypia, you could see his shadow ON THE CLOUDS when beating Enel (forgot how to spell his name tbh), but the Sea Behemoths are LITERALLY WALKING on the water. All we see are their darkened silhouette because of the distance AND the fog that's always unusually surrounding them. Their red eyes are also a give away that they are not just "shadows" being seen from Skypia
revisited the episode for you, they don't have red eyes, they are literally just skypians, they have the same wing trait that the skypians have as well

The only characters OP can't win against are Naruto and Sasuke. Maybe by EoS OP characters can compete against them as Luffy is approaching their strength with GEAR 5 but we'll have to wait and see.
