This episode is what Eastenders about I wish it was like this every episode (not an explosion) but exciting story lines like how this show used to be.

I noticed both actors sounded remarkably different compared to how they sound while acting in character on the show. They didn't enunciate words clearly like viewers are accustomed to hearing, and they spoke much quicker.

Had to watch that episode 3 times. This is Enders at its best. Fantastic cast, first class actors, especially the grisly Gray. The Panesars have been a really great addition, especially The character of Kheerat, Jas Deol is a very handsome guy. I’d like Kheerat to find love and I think Janine and Gray should get together..........I don’t know who would kill who first😭🤗🤩

Why didn't Scarlett tell anyone her mum and her brother were in the house??!!??!!?? She just hid behind a car. I know she was scared but wouldn't you at least try to alert someone that they were in danger, like, right away? It was 5 minutes before they found her and figured out the house wasn't empty.
I think Scarlet is so traumatised by her previous experience with mum that she wont deviate from what mummy says ( through fear). She took her mums instruction to the letter.

I agree. Stupid storytelling. And the fact Tommy didn’t scream at his window and cause any attention when he tried to open it to the ENTIRE square congregating outside it. Then no one helped him down. Bizarre. It just ruins it when the writers are shit at basic things cos the effects and the actors were brilliant. Not keen on Scarlett but she will come into her own
@@handsoffmycactus2958 I also thought it was dumb when they kept trying to pull the key to the door out of the crack in the floor. They could see the smoke coming through. Walking through the house would be dangerous. Why didn't they just open/smash the window and scream for help?? Someone could have gotten a ladder and gotten them all down in minutes. I also have a theory that Scarlett will grow up to be a baddie. Kids of villains always turn bad.
@@oh2887 That could be. I don't really know the backstory of Scarlett and Janine Butcher. There were quite a few years of EE that I missed. However, I don't get the impression that Scarlett wants her mom to die in a fire.

It was a great episode, but so many strange things which made no sense.
-Why was Tommy hiding on the bed, claiming the window wouldn’t open, when janine tried to open it, no one of the entire square watching saw them?
-Janine or the kids didn’t think to call the fire brigade when in the house?
-Scarlett didn’t run out and tell anyone janine and Tommy were in the building?
-Where was kat the whole time?
-Why did no one react when Tommy was being lowered out of the window?
Kat was out looking for Scarlett as her and Janine thought she was missing and Kat never knew Janine found her with Tommy until she arrived back after the fire and the window I think had something like a safety lock on it which Janine managed to remove to open but yes I’m curious too as to why no one tried to help Tommy get down safely from the window
At least they could have made it more believable with the clonk on Phil’s head.
Such a great recurring character. We all love to hate Janine, but she is fantastic.

Cut ,well done that was superlative. If you want to see real acting look at the movie the Malteese Falcon or the departed. Eastenders is not acting at all.
