AOM Owner is either not having efficient staff to work with or hiring people with such attitude to show everyone that he is the best in place and remaining people are idiots who doesn't know anything apart from very unacceptable behaviour.
Not even RE service center people will have such attitude.
He will loose his clients for sure if he continues this way.

Well to clarify some things that cap was created when the Himalayan first came, for the Himalayan bs3 models back then when even Royal Enfield didn't make that cap, the recognised that problem solved it for themselves and then started selling that perticular product (to my knowledge they didn't sell this saying this is a 100% fix product as in no water will go inside, they changed the cone set bearings greased it with waterproof grease so water don't get mixed with the grease and rust those bearings and then added that cap as an extra protection ) they advised everyone to change the bearings grease it with waterproof grease, add that cap and do general maintenance as timely clean and re grease those bearings . That used to slove the problem so people started recommending that then some only started using the cap get somewhat good experience and it's now come into this misconceptions...
And at the end even you can't disaggred that that whole job was a good job (the bearings the waterproof grease and the cap) so it's my request atlist try to give proper information as you did towards the end.
And I'm extremely sorry if I said something wrong or bad or did something to hurt you I'm extremely sorry please forgive me. 🙏🙏

From Mumbai, Last 6 month back i called you for same reason, and thanks for your great suggestion i selected KOYO bearing and waterproof grease.
Really dont go for that plastic cap of 10 to 20 rs which is getting sale for 500 🤦♂️
Also search for bearing of NTN, KOYO ( 800 RS max ) all are Japanese brand and best quality.
Sahi baat bola Aapne... People just Design something and promote, others will blindly follow without thinking about technical aspect of part. Same thing goes with adventure handlebar for Himalayan too 😂 People argue saying "AOM" handlebar is better than RE adventure handlebar, if someone is manufacturing it for less cost just think about it... "AOM" handlebar is too long and it increases vibrations in handlebar after installation but riders never complaint because they think some R&D Engiineer designed this 😂😂😂
AOM handlebars are just modified RD350 handlebars 😂. Same design everywhere
@@private4254 Half knowledge is very dangerous! And some CZcamsrs also promote their products with so much of pride without understanding the functionality and practicality of those parts... I really appreciate and support NCR Motorcycles because of the knowledge they share with everyone, this guy also made a video on prospec easy clutch cable that was an eye opener. Since then I never installed such products on my Himalayan, it's better to maintain it stock and only modify the motorcycle with time tested and proven products only.

As 2016 onwards we have made this product of nylon cap because there’s were issues of water seepage for fork cone set
1. Company wasn’t providing any cap then
2. Even now company’s cap is made out of metal which is again prone to rust
3. Aom nylon cap is wider than the stock
4. No rust transfer occurs as the material is high density polyethylene
5. 6 years of testing & widely used by bikers not even a single issue found on it
How is the company cap prone to Rust? I ride a 650 and this uses the same cap! It's been 4 years and over 25K KM! no rust! yes, the bearing were bad from the factory which I changed.

I have a Himalayan BS4. And run 60 k Plus. Generally I use waterproof grease when I install new bearing.. re grease every 6 month later..
