I wish I had something so nice at home. Maybe I'll visit that theater one day. Just another good excuse to travel back to Germany. Vielen Dank
I wish the modern cinemas were still like that!
Your videos are really nice
This beautiful cinema reminds me of a similar cinema we used to have here in my city Bergen (Norway), it was called Forum Kino, built in 1936 and officially opened ten years later, in 1946. It was Norway's largest independent cinema at the time, with 1,140 seats. It was a very popular cinema that even I remember going to (I saw "Independence Day" and "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" there) but in 2006, the cinema activity was moved further into the city center and the Forum Kino venue changed its name to Forum Scene and became a venue for various events such as comedy shows, music performances and other cultural events. I still get nostalgic entering the lobby of the building today and it takes me right back to its days as a cinema. I also remember the huge movie posters on the wall on the outside of the building facing a heavily trafficked road, and the wall also had a painting of a guy on a ladder right next to the poster, and the latter also had a shadow beneath it, giving it a very realistic three-dimentional effect.
Wow, wonderful Dave 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I lOOOve old buildings, they all have interesting histories about themselves and the town they are in... Oh, the country as well 😊
In my city, back in Belém, north of Brazil, we have the second oldest cinema in the whole country, if I'm not mistaken, still open to old black and white movies and some thematic seasons of kinds/genre/week in honor/etc of movies from all over the world.
Sorry I cannot tell you about the screen 😅🙈
Vielen Dank für das Video ❤
🤩❤️
Would love to see a Part 2 to this series, but in the Kino International in Berlin
