It really depends on the style. for knotless I would use evolving textures o gel. for stitch braids shine n jam silk edges.

I start off with a braid than twist. which way is better when doing the twists? Which way last long
I don’t think either or is better there just 2 different looks . I do find that starting with a braid creates more versatility in the movement of them.
