  • Learn how to wire wrap a Crystal Point Tree of Life Quartz Crystal Pendant Necklace in this tutorial by Julia Belle from Indipendants Jewelry.
    I always use dead soft sterling silver wire for all of my creations. If you are a beginner and new to wire wrapping, I suggest you start with copper wire.

    Oh my gosh. Amazing work! I love it. It was so much easier to do than I thought it would be. Thank you so much! I did this design on a Tigers Eye that I got for my big brother that's a Leo. ❤️

    Kinda wish there was a video where I could do this with a stone that wasn't drilled

      Maybe I'll cover that in the future!

      Yes same here. Will it work if it is not drilled?

      I did this on a non drilled crystal. I just did a simple wrap on the back and bent the wires like a lightening bolt and it’s really secure! My crystal isn’t a point though.

    • @bsconawah
      @bsconawah Před 2 lety +2

      I did it on a not drilled crystal. I just used tape to hold the crystal in place and I also did wiring on the back.

    I have the same pliers set! Great tutorial!!

    • @IndiPendantsJewelry
      @IndiPendantsJewelry  Před 2 lety +1

      These were great pliers, they lasted me many years!
      I have since upgraded my plier set. I'm now using Xuron pliers and I think that they're much more ergonomic. If you want a pair and would like to help support the channel some of my newer videos have amazon associate links for the tools I use.
      Thanks for the comment I hope those pliers serve you as well as they did me.

      @@IndiPendantsJewelry I will definitely consider upgrading. For now though, they are still serving me well, too. I love that the chain nose and round nose have such fine tips on them. Not the most ergonomic, though, I agree.

    Thank you so much for sharing this craft, you're both really good them and demonstrating how to do them. May I ask what you are using as paint in the end? I like the look but am not sure what to use.

    • @IndiPendantsJewelry
      @IndiPendantsJewelry  Před rokem +1

      Thank you! It's Midas Black Max, not paint. I have a few videos where I show you how to do this on the channel, here's a link. czcams.com/video/HgPqGPrgPEU/video.html

    That was great! Do you have any other videos that show the same technique but with a crystal that doesn't have a drilled hole?

    Where do you get your drilled quarts? My strand just came in and they’re all way smaller, is there a specific site you got yours?

    • @IndiPendantsJewelry
      @IndiPendantsJewelry  Před 2 lety

      I got this specific strand on Amazon however I do not recommend it because there were only a few from the strand that were actually usable. The quality just was not there. If you have a local gem show I would suggest you go there and browse - this is what I do when I'm looking for top drilled strands.

      It's top drilled, yes. If there's enough interest I can make another tutorial using a crystal without a hole.
