This is not a video about 10 best countries for black metal. This is a video about every country i did so far (in my series "10 iconic black metal bands/riffs from ______" ) and bit about these videos.
More countries and their awesome black metal yet to come. The fact that i did this video does not make other countries less important.

Poland has an amazing scene. From Mgla, Batushka, Wedrujacy Wiatr, Cultes Des Ghoules, Evilfeast, Graveland, Szron, I could go on and on man.

France is for me the best scene. They pushed the limit of Black Metal so many times : Deathspell Omega, Peste Noire, Alcest, Igorrr, Blut aus Nord. A whole new genre even came out thanks to Peste Noire.
I mean, all these countries are good and have their own features, but I feel like France is the most creative and innovative one. It doesn't stick to some features, it changes everytime and redefines what Black Metal is.>
I know I'm not partial, but still... the language, the culture, the history, the landscapes : no wonder why France (and Germany) is the best country for Metal.
In Poland we are proud of bands like Mgla, Plaga, Kataxu, Szron, Massemord, Furia, Iperyt, Voidhanger, Kriegsmachine, Gontyna Kry, Thunderbolt, Ohtar etc

Concerning Poland, Mgla and Batushka are indeed amazing and they have this more modern sound, it is a different and strong approach to black metal (although im sure you know Batushka, google will show them first). Check Vallendusk also from Indonesia, very interesting and great result (their first full album at least). Cheers from Greece matey, i really love your style, keep doing what you enjoy most :)

You should check out the Estonian scene, our country's population is about 1,3 million, but there are about 200 bands in total and almost 70 bands are playing Black metal.
Bestia, Tharaphita, Pime, Loits, Manatark, Süngehel, Thou Shall of Death, Langenu, Tapper, Sõjaruun, Urt, Grom, are just some bands I would recommend to check out.

You should check out the german Pagan Black Metal Band Firtan. Firtan - Wogen der Trauer. They are like 20-23 years old but damn, their whole stuff is pretty good
