I copied the snare sound exactly I had a pork pie 13’ 300$ snare tightened the crap out of the top head and bottom head ambassador top head and diplomat bottom head both cranked and get this snare sound it’s beautiful and should not have been abandoned by the drummer over the years
I always dug the drummers style of playing in bury your dead. I was in a band when this album was new and I tried incorporating some kick drum patterns in this style, but the guitarist would shoot me down . He would always tell me it's just too "bouncy". Those "bouncy" beats just flowed so damn good and really gave it drive.oh well... That's a guitarist for ya lol
