At the beginning of the year, I decided to try to manifest.
I tried to read my sister's mind. Fail

I tried to levitate myself. Fail (All I did was jump then fall back to earth)
I tried to make water in a bowl move. Fail
I tried to turn invisible. Fail
I tried to make fire in my hands. Fail
I tried to make it snow. Fail
I tried to lift an object. Fail
So yeah, all of these were fails. But I'm not at the end of manifesting age. (Mwah ha ha!)
Anyways, keep making these! I stop whatever I'm doing and immediately go watch it.

When they said Alden with wings I started cracking up SO MUCH. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 One of the characters I think looks ugly in the official art is Fitz. It's the one with the teal background. I don't know why I can't look at it. I also can't look at Alden. Is there something wrong with me? 😂

Something 90% of the fandom will hate me for saying: Fitz was under pressure when he got angry at Sophie in Legacy, and was angry at Sophie for literally hiding details about Alden’s mind break. Both of those times, it was justified he was angry, but he took it out on the wrong person in Legacy. And Sophitz is a good relationship that happened were both Sophie and Fitz were both under tremendous pressure and Keefe and Sophie would be terrible if Keefe doesn’t stop blaming himself for every speck on the table.

I hate to say it, but I kind of agree with the confession about having a main character die. Obviously it would be super sad and awful, but I feel like the “I almost died but then I didn’t” thing is getting a bit stale and a character dying could raise the stakes of the series and the future 2 books. Because right now it feels like you don’t have to worry a lot about the characters and what might happen to them because they always end up ok. (Not mentally but physically 😂 yk the crew with all their trauma)
Yeah honestly I kinda want Sophie to die. I know this sounds mean and it if it does happen, it sounds like a boring ending, but I feel like the Black Swan and her friends are kinda boring at this point. In all the books, I feel like the Neverseen are a lot more cooler because of the way they come up with such a twist and attack her friends. However the Black Swan along with Sophie and her friends, haven't really done anything interesting. IMO it would be really cool to see that Sophie would have to sacrafice herself to save Keefe or kill Gisela, after the mention of Elysian.

My confession is that I think Sokeefe is SUPER toxic, like half the ship moments is Keefe opening up and sharing his trauma then Sophie saying she’s sorry for him then 5 minutes later completely ignoring said trauma and not offering him professional help. There was one time in the books (I forget which one) where Sophie is recounting her favorite memories and it’s like Fitz giving her a present, her hanging out with Dex, then it’s her hugging crying and traumatized Keefe. Like one of you favorite memories is your love interest having a terrible awful time?? Yeah after that I don’t ship Sokeefe. Yep I’m ready for the hate

Okay but you made it seem like you ship Fitzphie. Fitzphie is even more toxic than Sokeefe!! Fitz clearly needs therapy or something for his anger issues and he usually just takes it out on Sophie. He’s the ‘golden boy” from the “golden family” you don’t just go from that to a boy that has been banished, gone against the council, and dating an unmatchable girl. I get why he’s angry but he has no reason to take it all out on Sophie. It’s so toxic. Sophie is still hurting from how rude Fitz was in Exile. Also, I see what you mean about Sokeefe, but it gets better in the new book

My two KOTLC Confessions:
1. My friend started reading KOTLC before me, and introduced me to the series. I wanted to check it out, so I went to Barnes and Nobles and read the back of the first book…and put it back. I didn’t read it until a few weeks later and I was hooked.
2. In Stellarlune, I think one of the main characters are going to die, and personally, I think it’s going to be Fitz. I don’t know why, the summary of Stellarlune just gives me Trials of Apollo Burning Maze vibes, you know?
Wait another Rick Riordan and KOTLC fan!? I see what you mean, but Shannon is awful at killing main characters. She’s only killed like one and a half, Kenric, who Sophie hardly knew, and Mr. Forkle, but he just had a twin brother that was basically the same guy. She just can’t bring herself to do it

Two confesions I used to pronounce Keefes name Keefy and didn't start saying it right until I was explaining what happened to my mama and she asked if that's how it's pronounced I said yes and she asked how it's spelled I showed the book and she said "no honey that's Keefe" I felt so stupid
Number 2 I thought dex was Fitz on the cover....didn't realize it was Fitz until book 3 when I relised the book covers were senes from the book and found out it was dex on book one Fitz on book 3..........I'm so stupid 🙄 btw I was 12 almost in seventh grade I new better on both of those

Also, I know this confession wasn't actually in the video, but Keefe isn't too good for Sophie. She's the main character, you're supposed to think she's, like, the best character ever. So who else would be better for Keefe?
You're not 'supposed' to think ANYTHING. What Shannon WANTS the reader to think isn't what you're meant to be thinking. If people think Sophie's insufferable, then that's it. In fact, I honestly think people should be MORE critical of the main character than any other character, I mean, they're the character you're seeing the entire series, the entire time, so being harsh is needed. Have you're best character as the forefront of your series, it's kind of insane how much people will forgive if they like the main character (for example, Percy Jackson, and Luz from the Owl House. I'm personally willing to forgive a LOT because I love both these characters, and I know for a fact I'm not the only one).
And I feel like people treat Keefe as the main character more than Sophie. Evidenced by 'So who else would be better for Keefe?'. If the main character was treated more as a main character, the question would be 'So who else would be better for *Sophie*? This is usually a side effect when the main character is either bad or uninteresting. Somehow Sophie to me manages to be both. Probably because she's bad *because* she's uninteresting.

@@Multi-FandomMadness You have a point. I agree with some things, although I do like Sophie, when she's not too stuck in her own emotions and just getting the job done (which, admittedly, rarely happens these days).
