I did not connect the interface to the iPhone. The interface was plugged into a MacBook (GarageBand).

I recorded the on my iPhone and the audio on GarageBand on a MacBook, via interface. I then sinked the sound to the video on my on my phone, and deleted the original phone audio. The guitar was plugged into a Roland AC33. You can see the devices and links in the video description.
