  • Comedian Isaac Butterfield says he would be “absolutely shunned” if he went to a comedy club in Melbourne as “comedy is subjective”.
    “Being a left-wing comedian is a smart business position because you’re going to end up on … these big platforms and they’re going to push you,” Mr Butterfield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
    “We know that comedy is subjective … if there’s a nice mix, then it’s fine, but if you walk through Melbourne right now and go to the comedy clubs, I would be absolutely shunned - they would not want me there at all.”

    C'mon, we all know that we're talking about Hannah Gadsby, and no, she's tragically _not_ funny.
    And Jim Jefferies _was_ funny, but then he threw Avi Yemini under the bus, got caught, wouldn't man up, then reported him to US Customs!
