Man those look like they are DMX controlled to the music!! That is awesome!! That is really all you need for small events. Much better than the gig bar.
I have four cans and two sticks and for smaller parties that is all I bring. They are amazing! I have never combined the fade with the music mode. Thanks for the tip!
Damn, that is awesome! Now I really want these😢 I had myself totally talked out of it and was going to go with maky but now I’m thinking about these again
Man I just had made a huge investment into 40 ADJ QAIP Elements white and I'm very happy with them but WOW those Ape Lights look sweet. The size is awesome too But I can also see kids picking them up as a toy.
I am aiming to buy 16 lights and I am mostly looking after these ape lights, but that thing you mention is my biggest fear, the fact of them not being "big enough" to make them visible and handle a few kicks ( I know they are sturdy but I feel drunk people would maybe kick them unintentionally), and maybe suitable for being robbed lol
Hi Brian, I have a question for you. in the music mode, should those lights respond to voice or does it have to be music in order for them to respond and how loud does the music have to be for them to respond ? Thank you Brian
And if you spend a few hundred more bucks and get the WAPE, it operates the lights with one mic, instead of each individually, so they really jump! They work well without it too as Brian demoed.
I did the math the other day on 6 ADJ Element Hex Pars, road case (non charging) & MyDMX GO to control everything (minus a tablet). According to Google, the lowest prices I could find came to $2503.00. An Ape Maxi Tour Pack with charging case & RF remote, according to Google, came to $2499.00. That's 4 bucks less & weights a WHOLE lot less as well.
@@briansredd I see the value now and it would def be an investment especially the lighter and less equipment to lug to gigs. This info is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Sweet choice of music to use for the demo! Thank you for showing us!
You pushed me over the edge. I ordered them a few minutes ago.
Looking forward to it. Thank you!
So cool, so expensive lol
Cool stuff isn't cheap
@@briansredd no doubt

Great video , can a foam cardboard home made light shield with stand the Ape light or will it get to hot ?

Question, Brian. How does the Amber and UV look on the Ape Labs, compared to 6in1 lighting that has a specific Amber and UV light? Thank you. Arturo
I think a SoundSwitch par set up could be just as good too and better on the pockets. Apelight Maxi is good if you have the $$$$. Thanks for the demo!

Need me some ApeLab fixtures... they are super pricey though 🤔
How tall are the light beams? the Chauvet ones go 12 meters and if the Ape labs will go as far then I'm SOLD on ape.
Thank you friend, but where can to buy
You know some pars for dance floor wash with a equally musicmode ?
are the batteries lithium ion?
