Pastor Wilson offers fresh perspective and inspiration to Christians about what are we against. "politics doesn't save us, that needs to be saved" It is an amazing interview.
Doug denies wanting to dissolve separation of church and state. However, Doug also wants the Nicaean Creed included in the Constitution. Quite a contradiction for Doug.
@@manager0175you misunderstand “ separation of church and state”
Outstanding conversation! I am beginning to see the younger people, mostly friends of my children, are beginning to seek Christ out and it makes my heart swell. It’s dawning on them that something very important is missing and his word is getting through.
This has been the best interview for understanding Doug and the Moscow Mood! Keep your heart on God in 'everything' in your life! Thank you!
Amen
Matt, I'm so happy to see this conversation happen! Crazy to hear about how you and Doug have a past family connection. Doug's stories about your parents were very touching. Keep up the great work.
This is amazing!
Thank you Pastor Wilson!
Having followed Doug for years, it’s crazy how all the sudden he’s seems to be less of an unmentionable. I keep seeing him pop up on other channels I don’t follow (like this one). Good to see
I have not been a Doug follower for very long. But what bothers me is the major inaccuracies he puts forth in nearly every video. That does not help the cause of Christ.
Doug’s fans and his trolls all showed up for this one. Oh well, it’s all one to the algorithm. 👍👍
@@manager0175
Innaccuracies?
@manager0175 could you be more specific about the inaccuracies? You made an accusation with no evidence or support.

My guess is that you'll get crickets in response to that question.
The world needs more God and Jesus.
I agree. However, I do not want more God and Jesus in government. Like Melville said "..better a sober cannibal than a drunk Christian..". Christians with political power have always been more corrupt and incompetent than their secular counterparts. Separation of church and state is one of the genius ideas of our founding fathers. Doug will destroy it.
God bless. Europe needs to return to God.
You said: "Europe needs to return to God.". You want another 200 years of religious wars? That is what happened the last time in European Christians had political power.
We need God 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Incredible interview. Awesome to see fruit from faithful service decades ago.
Doug said: "Christ or chaos"? Apparently Doug forgot about the "European wars of religion" that directly resulted from the first Reformation. As James Madison said: “The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries.” Historically speaking, nothing is more chaotic than Christians with political power.
Awesome conversation. Blessed here in the Philippines❤
What a small world!
Great HONEST Conversation on Grown Up Men who want to do Manly things to set up family, society and Future. A light in a very dark room
The pre-WWI world Doug envisions has been destroyed. It will never come back. And we are better off without it.
"Better a sober cannibal than drunken Christian." That quote from Melville sums up the problem for me. Historically, nothing is more corrupt or more incompetent than Christians with political power.
This is a conversation I didn’t even realize I wanted to see happen.
Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised to see you two together! Amazing post!
I never understood why your channel hasn’t blown off yet then i realise i may be in the starting phase of course watching you grow to great heights you deserve god bless you
This was delightful!
Phenomenal!
The separation of church and state is to keep the government out of church, not the church out of government
It’s both. Keeping the church out of civil government ≠ keeping Christians or morality out of government.
Another Doug Wilson win! Big Eva loses again
What a great interview! Thank you!
This was a most enjoyable conversation.
👍👍
Good stuff!
On the conversation of technical ability or loyalty... look at El Salvador. Especially in light of them, together, going, "We don't know what to do. Let's pray to God for His wisdom." Boom! MS13 taken down. Loyal to God. Loyal to His calling on your profession.
1:06:30 - This is kind of blowing my mind!
I love Doug’s answer to this one.
People need to do the great commission, instead of just community works.
Do you suppose that “community works” are somehow _counter to_ the Great Commission, always and in every case?
Any form of incrementalism is easily dismissed.
Deuteronomy 18:10 LSB -
“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire,
There is no room for incrementalism in this matter. Obey the word.
If your vote meant there would be an incremental law that abortions would be cut by 60%, would you not vote for that incremental measures because you didn't get a full on ban?
@@philipmurray9796
Thanks to the tireless work of the *"pro-life"* Community this situation has never occurred.
@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodin1559 you can answer now.
I haven’t gotten to the incrementalism discussion yet. But some problems (child sacrifice, eg) require an immediate 180, while others can allow for a slower course correction.
@@PanhandleFrank
What do you think is the second and third biggest problem in America.
I'll give you a hint about my opinion, both of them involve children.
how old is Matt Kim? He looks very young and fertile. Glad he's a dad!
A Gen Z died and went to Heaven. The Lord said to him, "Depart from me, I never knew you." The Gen Z said, "But we have texted everyday." The Lord said, "Correct."
Doug is faithful to the mission no doubt, and also faithful to doughnuts. Like all pastors. LOL.
