yeah, i mean people forget that saitama is a gag character, he's always stronger, its kindof his shtick. so he'd do something hilarious in order to survive it, and then they'd probably end up getting ramen together or something because neither of them would likely want to fight, both having similar moral codes (defend the defenseless)

When Saitama just sort of picked up and moved Garou's portals, it was clear that he operates on cartoon logic. He just does what he needs to, whether it makes any form of sense or not.
How people can read OPM and think Saitama is a scalable character with logical feats is beyond my understanding. I loved the Garou arc but I think the vibe of the cosmic fight attracted a fuck ton of unwanted and stupid power scalers. Saitama is as strong as he needs to be to not get hurt and to win as fast as the author finds interesting. Nothing scalable about him, any VS battles with him is stupid.

So Basically, he'll be able to have a domain expansion effortlessly and even be able to go in any domain expansion (he kinda already did it against Phoenix man).
What? Saitama was TAUGHT how to do the time travel thing by Garou after Garou realized he couldn’t win and was defeated. He couldn’t copy abilities or anything.

@@kaydenwalker3696Exactly.
It's actually safe to assume that Saitma's durability applies to every level, as Monster Garou hitted him with an attack that bypasses the physical body to directly hit the internal organs, and yet Saitama was completely fine, which means that his organs share the same durability as his body.
Theoretically, this could also apply to his cells and atoms, but from this point on this can only be head-canon unless the manga directly proves otherwise by making Saitama resist some sort of atom-erasure attack or something.
The story of OPM is kinda more about what is around Saitama. Saitama exists to show what happens when you get too powerful in a world of heroes. Although the world still needs him, as Saitama has saved everyone a countless number of times from the greatest threat of each enemy group, Saitama doesn't feel anything because loss of emotion from ungodly power has driven him to feel isolated (he still holds his idea of being a hero deep inside though as he hates people bashing on heroes).
The characters and setting around Saitama hold meaning and story progression, and so does Saitama don't get me wrong but his character exists immediately from the 1st season (about 10 or so episodes) to show that he is TOO strong and the basic power levels associated at different tiers (from fishmen demon/dragon to god level alien) were put into the story to demonstrate that he can easily beat those character "types".
To give an example: Boros is in the story to exemplify that an alien from space capable of destroying a PLANET can not beat Saitama, plus the alien KNEW that Saitama didn't even TRY. I repeat, Saitama didn't even TRY and absolutely destroyed Boros. The story from season 1 immediately put into scope that Saitama as a character will just be too strong for anything.
So far in the anime they are developing the people around Saitama to show a world of heroes where power dynamics DO matter when you're NOT Saitama and how heroes struggle against social politics, media, others, and themselves in their growth. What happens when an enemy is TOO strong? If you can't break your limits like Saitama did, how does that affect society? I overthink animes sometimes but OPM does a really good job making you think. EVEN if it's just for fun to compare power levels of characters.
Gojo wouldn't even come close simply because Saitama has no limiter and exists to beat whatever enemy comes to him.
that is his gag, noone can give him a real fight anymore nothing affects him, this is the sad part, he wanted to become strong to get real fights but he got too strong and he will never enjoy a fight anymore because he can't lose
I love how he beats someone who can destroy planets and they think he's beyond Omnipotent+++ and can solo fiction and reality at the same time yet when let's type, a character from a novel or a comic or a game transcends Infinite realities and Dimensions and Achetypes and literally destroys Infinite Omniverses and then recreated them in its own image and they think that it's only wall level. The idiocracy is just absurd to the point of pure disappointment.
Saitama super power is not like super strength or something like that, is being the strongest, and i think the plot of OPM is gonna be so much more mind-blowing than just "defeat the evil guy", man i love this anime, is like you said it makes you start thinking about it.

Here's something about saitama that people need to understand.
He's not just someone who broke his limiter and can grow infinitely in power.
He also is an anti cheat system basically. Anytime there's an ability that's supposed to cheat its way to victory, he negates it. That's why Garou summons portals and he either farts through them or just casually moves them around. That's also why When tatsumaki who can move continents with her mind, can't even lift him a few meters off the ground, when she's planning on throwing him into space. Blackhole gravity? Doesn't even feel it. Ocean water who's water with no physical form of being punchable? He still one punches and kills it. Phoenix man creating an alternate reality to trap child emperor? He casually walks in.
His with at the beginning of the series was what he gained. Before getting OP, he wished to become someone who could defeat anyone with a single punch. And that's how he is right now. Hacks won't stop him.

Additional note about the "sort them by mass, speed, and shape"
As shown in the opm manga, there is a side-story about Child Emperor building a device that can measure power. He points it at king and receives NaN (not a number) which he assumes means it's immeasurable power when in reality it's zero. Then he points it at Saitama and receives NaN again, which he assumes means its zero when it's the reverse. So in universe, Saitama's strength is so incalculable that it is synonymous with 0, meaning it'd likely bypass Gojo's ability by falling outside of his sorting ranges.

All it means is his device has a lower and upper limit to what it can measure. I can't measure my PP with a 10cm ruler but that doesn't make it immeasurable or infinite.

@@fishnutz5196 wait how did we get to talking about Dragon Im confused
One thing I noticed people not talking about much is Saitama's resistance to hax. Tatsumaki used a technique on Saitama that directly manipulates his spiritual energy but failed.
She also cannot telekinesis Saitama despite Saitama being lighter than the heaviest object she can lift, so this is not a physical resistance but some sort of Psychic resistance. Further proof of this is that when Tatsumaki telekinesised the air around Saitama instead of Saitama directly, Saitama got blown away by the air as normal since he didn't try to resist the air current holding on to something.
He is also able to break into Phoenix man's Psychic space and he can also interact with hyperspace portals.
Given all of this not only does Saitama have a good case of simply ignoring Infinity (it is still a spiritual technique which he has a resistance to) even without causality reversal, but even Gojo's domain expansion direct hit might not even work on Saitama, and even if it did, Gojo has nothing to surpass Saitama's durability anyway.

@@Cyn-- To be fair, if you couldn't get a joke you should think about reason of your existence. Let us not continue this strange speech, ok?
People have already mentioned this, but saitama learning the portal technique should technically counter gojo's infinity, because portals connect two places in space. If gojo puts infinity between him and saitama, a portal should be able to cross that space anyway. A mathematic example is 1/x^2. As x approaches 0, y is equal to infinity, but if you portal from (1,1) to (-1,1) you can cross that infinity. Aside from all that, saitama and Garuo's fight was actually shaking their reality early in the fight, at his strongest he should be able to break through whatever power gojo uses (or copy it an use it himself to negate gojo's powers, which judging from the fight with garuo should be possible)
W maths example but 6 yr olds aint gonna understand that XD
You really didn’t need the maths example mate☠️ bros tryna sound smart
You clearly don't grasp the concept of infinity. There is not a positive infinity or negaitve infinity. It encompasses all. Infinity is both positive and negative so that completely negates your argument. No he couldn't "put a portal between Gojo and infinity" that is not how Infinity works.
@@fullydecoded6343 He brings in math like he knows what he is talking about but he still couldn't be more wrong. Anyone with half a brain will read this comment and call this guy an idiot.
@@jt1761 No, he is correct. As Gojo's infinity divides the space between two finite distances an infinite amount means the function he wrote is correct.
And with this, the only way to bypass infinity is to nulify, or remove distences as infinity divides the space by x^2
Think of achilles and the tortoise. Archilles will never reach the tortoise but unless he can remove the distence between him and the tort (like with a portal) he'll never reach it.
So attacks like yami's dimension slash or reality slash from overlord that cuts space and ignores distences will work against infinity
Hence why gojo got turned into go/jo by sakuna
Essentially, if it ignores distence then it will bypass infinity

Maby cartoons tho
The thing about Saitama is that he's steadily getting stronger as time passes. Even when he's living his normal day to day life, he's still getting stronger and there's no upper limit how strong he'll get. No one notices this, because he is already out of everyone's league in his universe. But if he fights someone who's somewhat close to his strength, his normally steady growth skyrockets to unbelievable levels and he starts gaining strength at a ridiculous pace. This happened during his fight with Garou and it was explained in manga. He grew so strong during that fight in just few minutes, that his sneeze destroyed Jupiter and time and space started to bend around him. He literally grabbed the portal Garou made, and moved it. I mean, how can you even grab a portal? It's a tear in the space, it should be physically impossible to grab it, let alone move it by sheer force. He grew so strong that laws of physiques stopped working properly.
Video didn't mention, but on top of everything, he's completely invulnerable. Garou was emitting cosmic radiation that instantly killed anyone in his proximity and was so strong that each of his punch was the equivalent of a nuclear explosion. He punched Saitama countless times, they fought in the vacuum of space, Saitama go thrown on the sun and these are just few that can I remember, but the bottom line is that at the end of the fight, Saitama didn't even have a scratch! No bruising, no bleeding, nothing! All of his close burned away and he had some dirt on him, but that's it. He was completely unharmed! I can't imagine how can anyone do anything to him.
Probably the only way he can be defeated, is if someone stronger that him showed up and instantly killed him, otherwise Saitama would be stronger moments later and the fight will end.
That's why goku doesent stand a chance against saitama bc he simply has limits and saitama doesent

Saitama: "i aint reading allat"
7:25 Very likely to be an oversight by the artist for simplicity however,
because of the way the hole in the cosmos is drawn by Serious Punch ^2, it actually EXPANDED as it reached the end of the universe as it's a completely black hole. If it was like a straight beam you would see the more distant stars inside the circle's circumference. Either way, creating a blast of energy to reach the ends of the universe at speeds MFTL (it extinguished the light from cosmic bodies 14 billion+ light years away in a few panels) from CLASHING FISTS is insane.
I'm not sure why anyone would say that blast might have only affected solar systems or galaxies. It was quite clearly drawn as literally a hole in the universe. Imagine all the poor aliens that died before their eyes opened from a blink.
16:30 so basically, you travel back in time, hit your enemy (or the cause), the fight never happens because "the cause" got hit, thus making it zero punches, but the "timetravelled you" made a punch, but you didn't (the past you)
The fact saitama can canonically move at above lightspeed by farting is already telling enough
Saitama, due to having accelerated growth, could probably learn how to use his cursed energy. Gojo said that Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, and Hikari could potentially surpass him. But, Saitama could possibly surpass Gojo via growth. If Gojo can beat Maharaga, Gojo will have a slightly higher chance against Saitama than he already did.
But, in terms of causality reversal, as long as Saitama retains those hax martial arts, he will just be able to grow to a point to destroy Gojo, reversing causality to do it with his "zero punch".

Yea but he forgot the reverse causality punch after the time travel. Plus you can’t just bypass hax with strength unless you possess higher dimensional AP/DC. The slash💀
I’m so glad they used garos them song because it made a the best theme song I’ve her in all of the shows I’ve watched
So I think saitama wouldn't even be affected by gojo's domain expansion, mainly because of the hard rules of the jjk universe. Domain expansions target people by locking onto their spiritual energy and applying rules to them so you as the domain expander can get a guaranteed hit. Not everyone in jjk has spiritual energy tho. Toji and Maki lack spiritual energy and because of that they were essentially undetectable to sorcerers and weren't affected by domain expansions. Maki is stated to have the ability to walk freely in or out of domains without being held to the rules because the domain views her more as an inanimate object than a person. Saitama comes from a very physical universe. It's not like naruto where they have spirits and chakra or bleach where people have riatsu. If saitama were thrust into the jjk universe he'd probably be closer to toji or maki and would lack spiritual energy making him, most likely immune to gojo's domain expansion. But even if you wanted to give him spiritual energy anyway, we've seen in the most recent chapters of jjk in gojo's fight with sakuna, having comparable strength to your opponent complicates the effectiveness of domain expansions. Gojo couldn't just one-shot sakuna with his domain. And considering how saitama is at least star cluster level in strength, I doubt gojo's domain is going to be effective against saitama. Also he's got extreme mental fortitude as seen in his fight with tatsumaki. She struggled moving him, and a person's ability to be moved telekinetically scales with their mental fortitude (as stated in the opm verse) So a mental attack may not be a killshot against saitama. Also he straight up violated phoenix man's pocket dimmension by PHYSICALLY BUSTING INTO IT which was stated to be impossible because, I guess metaphysical rules don't apply to him? So there may be a chance that he could just violate gojo's domain too.
yeah, as one guy said earlier in previous comment, saitama is an anti-cheat system

While Saitama wins due to hax anti-hax, that's not how domains work. They don't target cursed energy. There are domains that do target cursed energy, but that's not how they all work. Unlimited Void affects everything not touching Gojo, Malevolent Shrine hit's non CE objects with Dismantle. The only example we have of the CE-less trait doing shit in a domain is against Naoya's domain which automatically targeted objects with CE to run at them
@@universallyepicnarwhal9102 you are right. I misspoke. Domain expansions are seperate from the techniques used in tandem with them. As weve seen, characters are able to use domains without using all of their techniques. But the "sure hit" technique that comes along with mastery of modern domains is a concept that is discussed in the manga a lot. A good example of how this "sure hit" fails against characters like toji and maki is by looking at makis fight with naoya. While 2 other sorcerers were rendered unable to move without ripping themselves to shreds due to naoyas "sure hit technique" maki was unaffected, due to the fact that she had no cursed energy. Her lack of cursed energy essentially made her immune to the automatic implementation of naoyas technique on anything within the domain that would be percieved as a target. When using the sure hit technique within your domain, the domain will look for sources of cursed energy and target those, believing them to be sorcerers. This is the evolution of modern jujitsu sorcery that allows you to hit people that would be otherwise too fast to actually hit or even perceieve. Maki and toji being "untrackable" by modern sorcery standards makes them immune to the "sure" part of the "sure hit technique." Sakuna, being from the old world of sorcery, doest use a "sure hit technique". He just obliterates everything instantly within a certain range, sorcerer or not. It is stated in the jjk manga that his technique is unique within the modern era of soecery and makes him a rather dangerous and unpredictable foe. Back to gojo. Being a modern sorcerer whose technique relies on overloading a persons percetpion by feeding their brain an unlimited stream of information, i think its fair to assume that his unlimited void technique works much like naoyas or hiromis, which automatically detects and targets cursed energy in order to apply that technique to a person, not an object. I checked the wiki and the manga states that when using unlimited void, EVERYONE he doesnt touch is automatically affected, not EVERYTHING, which is an important distinction. Afterall how are you supposed to affect a rock or a stick with the information provided by unlimited void. I am 97% sure that since maki and toji are viewed by domains as inanimate objects, the technique of unlimted void wouldnt automatically affect them, and gojo would have to apply it manually. Idk what that looks like, maybe he has to touch them or his technique becomes a projectile. But without the "sure hit" part of that technique, hitting an opponent like toji who could blitz gojo even with his six eyes becomes a tall order. Therefore saitama who is massively ftl would blitz gojo before gojo could even think to apply his unlimited void technique on saitama.
And yea, saitama's reversal of causality punch allowed him to move 4th dimensionally. If gojo's limitless only works on 3d movement, ANYONE that can move through time can "walk" around his power

He would probably flick it and be done with it. The author did say he is not yet talented enough in making complicated solutions to problems and decided to make saitama appear and punch away all his problems.
No but see the thing is he 100% doesn’t care about infinity. He doesn’t obey the laws of physics (being able to grasp spacetime like a coffee cup)
Saitama isn't only infinitely strong, he's an anime moderator, notice that not physical attacks, such as telekinesis, have no effect whatsoever on him, he was designed to be a counter against every character made, he kinda exists to humble those who think they're the strongest
I noticed a few people talking about how goku wipes the floor with saitama, I would like to disagree, I love both series, but it seems that saitama broke his limiter (it's in the manga, when he breaks his bad tooth), and from there, can get infinitely stronger. However, with goku, he keeps on reaching a new limiter every time he breaks one, but there doesn't seem to be an end to all the limiters, goku is recognized as having infinite potential, just like saitama. So in conclusion, they can both infinitely get stronger, it's just about which one trains harder.
one thing that i'll bring up because of the war in the comments is that the way that Goku gets stronger is like a muscle, he breaks, then works like crazy to be able to build himself back even stronger, meaning he needs to lose first in order to be able to win later. With this in mind, and as saitama gets exponentially stronger just by putting minimal effort into his combat (as we see in his fight against garo where garo copied saitama's current level, then by saitama trying ever so slightly harder, he gains extraordinary strength to the point where his strength can't even be copied by a fragment of the creator of the entire everything in that universe), and where saitama casually gets much stronger day by day, in term of who grows faster, Saitama, 100%, but Goku is already pretty strong to begin with, so as I said and will say again, Saitama and Goku are equal, it just depends on who trains harder, but if saitama were to train as hard as Goku, then Goku doesn't stand a chance, and all you Goku fanboys can do some research before commenting.

According to the reasoning that Saitama was immune/resistant to Tatsumaki's abilities was because of his mental fortitude or will. Theoretically, Domain expansion falls under a psychic technique and wouldn't hurt Saitama. Or at least, wouldn't hurt him as much.
Its funny because since Saitama is already shown to be ridiculously resistant to mental attacks, metaphysics, and the like, infinite void would probably struggle to just slow him down a bit just like how tatsumaki struggled to lift him a few meters intent on throwing into outer space and despite her capabilities to lift continents
The serious punch squared probably just pushed away the light being emitted by the stars. Even destroying the stars would let the light that was already traveling to be seen

If Gojo can still hear stuff while using infinity, then all Saitama has to do is to break Gojo's ears with a soundwave strong enough to kill, if that even exists.
200 decibels 🤓
It does, I also recently was reminded, if you can make a sound that something stupid loud like 120,000 decibels you would create a black hole due to the sheer power of the sound waves the noise you made would produce.
saitma breaks the rules of realty. he kicked wormholes around like frisbees. holes that punch through spacetime and he casually yeets them around. he isnt limited by his normal speed or strength as his power scales to his opponents and goes exponentially above it. so gojos infinity will end up breaking itself because saitamas power uses it as the basis for his own power and then goes wildly above it

@@Nyghtking 1,100 decibels as increasing decibels by 10 increases its power exponentially, hence why sounds of humpback whales and sonars can boil your body from inside as they are millions of times stronger than fireworks in energy dissipated from sound.

7:55, They made a mathematical error there. The Serious Punch squared isn't Saitama supplying half of the total power, it's actually far less than that. When you square a number, the result is an exponent. You multiply the number by itself. If the value of Saitama's punch is 100, then the value of Cosmic Fear Garou's punch was also 100. The equation is 100 x 100, not 100 + 100. The result would be 10,000, not 200. So, Saitama didn't supply half of the total power, he supplied 1 / 100th of the total power.
By being more advanced than Garou in the broken limiter, Saitama has a growth advantage. So, this is why he could dust Garou during their fight. They started off this round nearly equal, but Saitama's level of advanced limit breaking permits him to grow faster. By surviving the backlash of this kind of collision, he benefits a lot more. Whereas Garou suffers more damage and takes longer to adapt to it. This explains Saitama skyrocketing on the graph, and Blast's reaction to the power output from the collisions. It also explains why he eventually needed help containing their fight. Containing just one of them wasn't so hard. But containing more power than either of them was individually capable of at the time was a whole other challenge, especially considering that ripping the surface from Io requires sextillions of joules of power as the starting value, not hundreds of joules. So, #respectBlast
Anyway, to put into perspective what we just watched: Saitama just rapidly evolved from a planet buster to a star buster in a single fight. Don't turn your nose up. A star buster can destroy an entire solar system in a single attack, regardless of how much strain on the body that attack causes. Guess how big our solar system is? It reaches out to the Oort cloud. That's 1.3 light years in diameter. The guy whose Serious Punch once split the sky turned that same punch into one that could part a solar system in one fight. So, that's extremely significant. That punch connected with an equal opposing punch, and the fallout was so great that they blew away the light from stars and galaxies millions of light years away, leaving an enormous blind spot. Whoa! Bro! You made the stars invisible?! You two just knocked away a 14 billion year supply of photons?! Can you even fathom how much light that is?
But, yeah, this is the actual physics behind what happened in this fight. It's actually more impressive than you think because you have to consider how many times he survived collisions that were so much more powerful than he was, then he grew from them and survived more. If they don't end him right away, universe busters and multiverse busters from other verses actually *could* lose to Saitama eventually. True enough, there's levels to it. However, playing with one's food is the biggest weakness when facing Saitama. Can Saitama beat Jiren or Broly? Nope! They're not going to play with him. Can Saitama beat Goku? Eh, that's a distinct possibility because Goku just won't grow up. I think Saitama would beat Gojo too.

I honestly don't believe Limitless would work on Saitama; even prior to the Garou fight he was able to perceive the Phoenix space and break it which also had its own time like Gojo's infinity.
Cursed energy is directly attributed in JJK to come from negative emotions and that it can be amassed by groups of humans to form into cursed spirits. Thus domains are comprised of spiritual energy just like the Phoenix space.
Even considering Gojo's Limitless and Six Eyes are well beyond Phoenix Man's capabilities Saitama broke the Phoenix Space well before the Garou fight when he scaled up to reversing causality and grabbing hyperspace portals so if you take Saitama prior to jumping back in time I really can't see a domain working.

Knowing that Saitama is a character who can effortlessly negate any supernatural and hax abilities or imitate anything his enemies do physically is enough for me to determine whether he will struggle against any character. I always judge fights between Saitama and other fictional characters based on whether Saitama would like them and they'd become friends after a quick fight or if they'd end up hating each other where Saitama is motivated enough to kill them. For instance, in the case of a fight between Goku and Saitama, I don't think it would be a battle to the death or driven by hatred. Instead, it would be Goku and Saitama comparing their powers, trying to see if they can surpass each other. I believe they'd need a whole universe or even two to fully test and challenge each other’s limit 😂 this is by knowing Goku’s and Saitama’s personality.
Personally, I haven't watched Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) and I'm clueless about Gojo. Assuming that Gojo is not an evil character, Saitama would probably spare him if he wasn't an asshole or acting all evil. Power scaling is so lame. Like you limit a character's power to fit the story anyway. One Punch Man is good being in his own universe and anime. I could create a character and state that he is the one punch man to one punch man and is invulnerable to anything regardless of plot... now what? We don't do this for a reason. People who cross power scale are so fucking annoying. If you want to be so technical, then how is it even possible for two magic/power systems with different atoms and rules to interact in a deterministic way? It just goes back to the same reason, and that is the author's convenience and what he decides to do.
