  • During its first hours on 31st March 2001, shortly before the blocky rebrand during its last few years... 3 regional versions of BBC Choice Scotland, Northern Ireland and of course Wales (30th March) has shut down its transmission for the final time that would be switched to their national versions of BBC One and BBC Two (also includes BBC 2W in Wales for digital viewers.)
And even though the closedown continuity for the Northern Ireland one does get resurfaced in HQ, the Scotland one is lost while BBC Choice Wales is the one that i'm trying to find after the real closedown continuity itself got deleted on CZcams a long time ago and it was used to be accessible on a TV Archive (T|V|A) website but that sadly no longer works just before the whole website (except for some features) abruptly got shut down and none archivists or other archive websites such as TVARK, TV Whirl or other things saved it or reuploaded it in HQ. (but if one of you folks have it, it really means a lot to me.)
There's a couple things i remember when watching it on CZcams back when i was a kid such as the blank screen with the BBC Choice ''hearts'' logo announcing something which follows by a man in a control room saying its final words to BBC Choice Wales to close out the night by also making the DOG fade for the last time by saying goodnight... which is where i recreate that with an Bernie puppet... i even partially remember some of the lines used in that too as you can tell by the video and that's that.
