    It would be awesome to use that outer clamshell bracket attached to a hoist to lift and store the rear roof section out of the way in the garage.

    The 2-door Bronco install is a little vague. Would be nice if you could do a quick video for that. The front clamps are not as obvious because the front of top doesn’t have the factory cut-outs that the back does. The JCR roof rack is very nice btw.

      especially if only doing short rack since it says install the front and rear mounts before the mid mounts...

    Do you have a list of validated (or recommended) 40" lightbars for the cutout?

    • @JcrOffroad
      @JcrOffroad  Před rokem

      We recommend the Baja Designs S8 40" but any bar that fits these specs should work.
      Cutout fairing designed for 41.25" max lens housing width single row LED light bar. Up to 43.5" (mounting stud width) bar will fit with our mounts, but trimming of the fairing will be required

    Hello guys. I recently installed the full size roof rack on my bronco. Even though the steps are simple... I ran to a lot of issues of the bolt holes not aligning or large clearances where the bolts would not cross over for proper engagement. This resulted in a using brute force on several occasions. Many attempts were made at calling your technical department with no success; over 30 minutes waiting for someone to not answer. Hopefully I can get an answer here for my following questions. I have noticed the rack makes a lot of noise (not wind noise) when the vehicle is moving, more pronounced in the back and going through bumps on the road. Cant really describe the sound without a video which I can easily provide. Is this normal?

      @@JcrOffroad Why don't you answer his question on here so we all know what the answer is? Or is it too difficult for you all, just like it's too difficult to actually send the mounting pieces with the foam already installed...or is paying $1000 for a few pieces of aluminum not enough for you to engage in activity that seems beneath you?

      Update: The noise is not related to the roof rack. Simple coincidence it happened at the same time of the installation. To clarify, it's a very good quality roof rack.

    I’m considering this for my bronco. What is the static and dynamic load rating for the 2 door rack you sell? Thanks.

    • @JcrOffroad
      @JcrOffroad  Před rokem

      Dynamic (road) weight rating is 120lbs evenly distributed. Static and jarring off-road weight limits are at your discretion.

    Safe to assume the front roof panels can't be removed with this rack installed?

    Thanks for the video. How high is the highest point on the rack above the hardtop?

    • @JcrOffroad
      @JcrOffroad  Před 2 lety +2

      About 3.5" - 3.75" above the center of the hardtop.
