Aloe, Hemp & Butter Lotion Recipe:
22.2 oz (628g) - Water & or Aloe (combo)
6.3 oz (180g) - *Butters & Oils of choice
3 oz (80g) - Emulsifying Wax
3 oz (80g) - Stearic Acid
.5 oz (15g) - Optiphen (check usage rate %)
.8 oz (24g) - Fragrance (check usage rate %)
Solid Lotion bar video: • DIY Recipe How to Make...
Basic Lotion bar recipe:
3 oz Coconut oil
3 oz luxury butter (I'm using a combo of Shea and Cocoa)
3 oz liquid oil ( I'm using a combo of Hempseed and or Almond oils)
4 oz Beeswax (you can use a bit more or less depending on how hard you like your bars
Vit E oil (I just used a squeeze)
1/2 tsp Arrowroot powder (you can use carrot powder, colloidal oats... or a mix)
0.6 oz Fragrance or Essential oils of choice (please use usage calculator)

Bath Bomb Recipe:
47 oz Baking Soda
2 oz Cream of Tartar
1 oz Kaolin Clay
1 oz SLSA
30 oz Citric Acid
.7 oz Jojoba oil & Shea Butter (or oil of choice)
.3 oz Poly 80
.8 oz Witch Hazel (+ sprayer with extra)
1 oz Fragrance (check manufaturer recommended %)
Mica or skin safe colorant of choice

Cocoa Butter Drizzle:
3 oz Cocoa butter (melted)
3 oz Baking Soda
.3 oz polysorbate 80
skin safe mica or colorant of choice

Emulsified Sugar Scrub Recipe:
44-54 oz Sugar (I use orgainic cane sugar)
5 oz total hard butters (I usea combo of Cocoa, Shea & Mango)
3.2 oz Emulsifying Wax
1.5 oz Beeswax (or Candelilla wax)
2 oz Stearic Acid
20 oz liquid oil of choice (I use a combo of Almond, Jojoba & Hempseed)
1 oz preservative (I use Optiphen)
1.3 oz F.O. (or whatever the proper usage rate for yours is)

I always love watching your videos! You are such an inspiration to the rest of us in the business. I was wondering if you would share any tricks to shrink wrapping your donut bath bombs? I tend to melt the glaze when I have tried to shrink wrap mine. I do use a recipe that is like yours. Does your gun have a temp. control? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
It is a bit tricky with the cocoa butter glaze and it's melting point. I try to do most of the "shrinking" on the bottom and sides and just barely touch the top with the heat gun. Quick passes over helps it to not melt.
Beautiful Products as always, but I think I will try your bath bomb recipe. I have tried so many, and I am in Tennessee as well just in the Sevierville area, anyways I bought a hand press like the one you got so I will definitely be trying it out this weekend and will let you know jhow it works for me (hopefully it does hahaha). Thank yet again for all your videos, you always give great tips and tricks and of course make some of the prettiest products I have seen.❤
If your weather is like ours here in mid state, the humidity is rising so I go a bit shy on the liquids…

I just got my molds for bath bombs so I’m excited to try making them, I always make bath truffles with ice cream scoop so these bath bombs will be a new adventure for me! I also make the emulsified sugar scrubs and I use the Avery program for my labels. My labels are clear and they are not waterproof. So I ordered some clear waterproof sticker label covers it for them. I’m hoping that works because I really like the clear label. Are yours waterproof?
My labels aren't waterproof, but I'd like to get them eventually

It holds up well, I haven't had issues with shipping it. This is my emuslified body butter option during warmer months.

I will attempt to do this , however, we have no emulsifying wax in this part of the world, incredible ha, but we are getting there with more unique products. This product is to harden the bar correct? What other product can I use? Again thank you so much.
Emulsifying wax is for the lotion, it makes the oils and liquid parts blend and not separate.

Have you tried these fragrances in soap? Does it say on the bottle how it behaves in soap?
I haven't soaped with them yet, but I plan too. It tells the % for soap, but I would still look up reviews for more input.
Hello Ellen, can I ask if the 0.7oz for She & Jojoba is each or together, because on your Calamine bombs, the liquid portion was 1.0oz….. can you tell I am checking out all your bath bomb videos…lol….that’s because I had an epic fail trying to make bath bombs the other day 😂
For this recipe it is .7 for both oils together, so that's the total.
