I just poured the entire bottle into a ten ounce conditioner bottle and shook it really well. ALWAYS use plastic gloves or you will regret it.

I tried it and it worked though I did end up using a tad bit of conditioner just to help stretch it since my hair is long.
It's basically just the same as hair dye but with less indegredients and no ammonia, peroxide or alcohol. Pretty much like manic panic in a way except the more pumps you use the more concentrated the color.
I left mine on for 25 mins and it was fine, stained my grey hairs blue but that was expected since I was using the dark cool color for dark hair.
