Its inspiring how she held onto her dream as a kid, and made it this far to make that dream come true. Proud of you katherine!
No... Actually, to think that fullfilling a dream is inspiring shows how bad we are used to live.
We live a live in wich a dream is not something we live, so we get "inspired" when we see someone else doing it.
@@nicolasgarcia248 you must be fun at parties
@@ryanf1425 dude really isđ
"You are going to take this seriously, you are going to have to put things into action..." Thanks Dad đ
idk about her loyalty, she did trade mclaren for mercedes in the end of the day
As a graphic designer Iâve always wonder how working in an F1 team looks like. Thanks for the insight Katherine.đ
Me tooâŠ.thanks Katherine

All Good , But You cant beat Admin's MS Paint Posters đđđ
đđđ
Plot twist : She is the admin
You guys certainly did a good job this year
We're not gonna talk about off center star on new car?
It always satisfying seeing your own design become reality. I remember designing a big banner to cover a wall for a cafe, the visitor make it as a background for photos and selfie, makes my heart over the moon đ€©
These videos giving insight into how the team works along with team members is fantastic and quite informative. I appreciate how she has achieved her childhood dream, showing how dedication, and resiliency are fundamental parts to success in any field. Best of luck at the Singapore GP.đ„
Yeah, Im quite sure that being British helped her
@@nicolasgarcia248 Incredibly perceptive of you. Who would have thought being qualified for the job, living within commuting distance to Brackley where she works would help her get this job at Mercedes.
Can we draw the conclusion that it helps being Italian and living near Modena to get a job working for Ferrari?
@@sultanoftippoo3857 yes, thats the f"*âŹing point of my comment.
Is not dedication, is where she lives, and who she knows
@@nicolasgarcia248 How do you know itâs âwho she knowsâ. For all you know she could have studied hard at University, applied for the job and got it through merit?
Autosport have dozens of jobs like hers advertised every week from companies like Mercedes, Red Bull etc. Williams have a specific apprentice program looking for school leavers to join in all sorts of motor sport jobs. Do all of these people get their jobs from who they know and if they did why waste time and money on advertising them in the first place?
@@sultanoftippoo3857 because it doesnt matter if its F1, politics, a factory or a pet shop, good jobs are obtained vĂa contacts, not merit.
If she happens to be one of the tiny minority that got it by merit, good for her
Iâm sure it can be stressful but sheâs living the dream
it's nice to see people getting their dreams come true and how the sport has grown to allow ppl from all fields and background to be apart of this wholesome moment!
can't wait to do it myself!!! Cheers!!đâ€
I quit my job doing graphic design for an architect [even though I loved it] because it just wasn't going anywhere. Now I'm doing a mechanical engineering apprenticeship & this story makes me realise there _are_ other opportunities out there, and sometimes it takes training in another sector to gain the skills a company is looking for, even if you end up transferring later on đ
I think I'm more creative than technical, but am really enjoying hands-on training as it's challenging me in a new way, and although I see myself having some sort of design career, it's incredibly helpful to understand how things work and to learn how to push boundaries and be curious, and test and refine components to achieve better results and have an innovative mindset.
I study graphic design in Colombia and I really like Mercedes F1 and the designs are very nice, what a great design team! đ
That's incredible. Really felt your happiness of working at Mercedes during the video. As a designer I'm really happy to see other designers being successful and happy for having their work recognized. :D
What an absurdly beautiful story. Inspirational in every single way. Tell Katherine she just ignited the fire under so many, including myself!
Amazing job! congratulations and thank you for showing the graphic designer's influence in F1

Another great presentation from the Team. Irish accent sounds very familiar. Good luck this coming race.
Thank you for showcasing women's talents! They don't get enough recognition especially in the sports world

This is awesome, its something I've always wondered about within the F1 sphere in terms of graphics so really great to see from your perspective and how things work. Great stuff Katherine!
Congratulations Katherine. A great story which highlights your exceptional capabilities. Well done and good luck going forward.
The quality of design work at Mercedes is Par excellent. I love looking at all the design details on & off the track. Kudos to u & your team. Keep up the fantastic work you guys put it to make Mercedes look top notch week in & week out. đđŒđđŒđđŒđđœđđœđ€đœ
I love this. I hope there were more videos like this, even for the different teams. It's so interesting to see what happens from the inside from your point of view. Kudos!
Check out Aston Martin's CZcams channel. They've got some very interesting stuff there in particular their 'Insider Stories' series amongst lots of other stuff.
Great work, Katherine and team! Your designs are always beautiful.

Thank you katherineâ€ïž, for all the amazing wallpapers đ€. now we have got to know who is behind those and their story. Keep up đđ»đđ»đđ» great content team đ€đ€đ€
That is so cool. The 14 year old kid took her dream and ran with it, not everyone has the strength to stay focused like that and Katherine quite obviously has the right temperament for F1!
To the kids out there, follow your dreams!!
Well done Katherine, all your hard work paid off.
She is such a happy employee ,her smile says it all
Hard work do not guarantee success, but discipline and consistency sure give you a chance to progress.
Really inspiring...one of the many reasons I love Mercedes.
Congratulations!
You're so inspiring to the next generation.
Graphic Design is what keeps me busy all day, all week. Funny I never thought F1 teams had in house Graphic designers. Quiet an eye opener.

As a huge F1 fan and, at the same time, a person involved in Design area I am grateful to have opportunity to dive in a little bit into Katherineâs work for your team. Found this video very inspirational and delightful. Enjoyable one. đ
I wish user experience designers were hired in such places :).
I think the more people realise how powerful designing for better user/customer experiences are the more those roles crop up in instances like this. I'm sure it will happen soon!

Have you heard of the Save Soil movement?đđđ
What an inspiration Katherine! loved it
Amazing story and nice work!
Everything is so professional in this team! I'm sorry maybe a richer vocaboulary would help me, but really what I see, in every corner of this team, is being professional. From the best of the driver, down to the guy that turns off the lights at evening. Can't wait for the 2023 season to start! Keep on pushing, guys (and girls :) ) !!!
Dream job! Way to go girl!
awesome video. love to see it
Don't forget to do one of these episodes on the social media team too. One of you guys is a meme master
it is my dream to work for F1, and when i found out it hires graphic designers too, it made me SO HAPPY!! So glad to see you work in your dream workplace â€â€ hoping i could someday work there too â€
Yeah being a graphic designer with a lot of sponsors involved is pretty stressfullâŠwhen you thought your job is amazingly doneâŠsometime they gonna sayâŠâthis is too muchâ đ
Great profile, and it's nice to hear a variety of British accents behind the team.
Great story! Well done Katherine.
đđđđ wow she makes Mercedes look fresh AF. so clean!!
this is so coolll, i wanna be a graphic designer and getting this insight is so amazing. i really hope i can be a graphic designer for an f1 team in the future :]
Awesome! As a graphic designer it's so great to see how a design team from one of my other passions operates. Great job!
love it, what a backstory.
Very inspiring from someone in pretty much the same situation
Now this is a really interesting topic as I work in the same field. The creative freedom might not always be seen with good eyes internally, but it's a normal way of working in our field of work, I think. Although you're not with my favorite team I wish you the best of luck.
Oh, the magical power of art! â€ïž
Id give a body part to work with, what is clearly, the top talents on their respective fields like this. Especially F1 and MERCEDES. Imagine all you could learn from others. Endless learning. I am very much like her, with design, except mine is more on the technical side. She had a dream and stuck to it. That is amazing. She deserves the success she is having. Well done.
always amazing when big companies showcase their employees for everyone is part of the team that make the companies name. Thanks fo the insight on this always wonder how thing sget down in design...
Now I know who makes those really good photos and graphic designs every race and posts of Mercedes AMG on their socials
So these are the people that create those amazing instagram posts! I recognize the infinity picture and thought it was great!
Mi piacciono molto questi video sul lavoro che câĂš dietro a una auto di F1, io appassionato di F1 vorrei sapere sempre di piĂč, di piĂč. di piĂč. Grazie dei vostri video
thanks from Petronas with your dedications to the team. come visited to Malaysia đđđ ( not pinoy country )
Lots of smiling, PR, and office space... Great job! for 39K : )
Thanks for delivering your tenth to the team.
YESSS - As a graphic designer, im glad Katherine is getting some light
2019 was the first year we got the star pattern on the back of the car. Where the actual Mercedes logo had its circle removed to just get the 3 point star. I'd be fascinated to know how that went about. To take something completely sacred for years in their visual identity and create a corrupted version of it as a pattern. I was fascinated by this bold step and Katherine was right there when it happened.
Awesome Katherine! Also, I'm so jealous of your job...
You have my dream job. Keep it up Katherine!!
so cool and inspiring đ
i'm a graphic designer and let me tell you: what a great job you have! đ€©
Its inspiring to me.. I saw design engineer use Catia, same with me as Catia and Solidworks user, I do for engineering design come from graphic designer concept
It's nice to see how big corporation appreciate about Graphic Designer. At my country, most companies don't.
That's amazing! I'm designer too and I hope one day I'll be like Katherine :)
Wish I can work for an organization like yours! Keep up the good work!
Bravo, your work looks awesome
Great video and super story
Wow this is insane. Good work
This is such an inspiration.
